I took a picture of this stranger getting horchata at the Tacos El Gordo on the Las Vegas strip. This week I found and binged a new podcast! What happens when real life meets “Free Willy”? The Good Whale, a new limited podcast series from Serial Productions and the New York Times, that tells the fascinating true story of a wildly ambitious experiment to return a captive orca to the ocean. Daniel Alarcón of Radio Ambulante hosts the show, and you can listen to the first episode en Spanish! Follow the journey of Keiko, the real whale who played Willy, from a tiny pool in Mexico City to the global stage, as scientists and fans work to give him a chance at freedom. My favorite part: the surprise in episode five --truly innovative podcasting. Enjoy🎧🌊
