Did you know that in the last election, BIPOC voters made up nearly 40% of the electorate? But turnout can still be inconsistent. My friend and Pocho Stuff supporter Lindsay Lashell reached out to invite us (that's me AND you, !) to join her postcarding campaign with Reclaim Our Vote to help encourage our communities to vote this fall! I am admittedly bad at keeping up with Queer culture, but I'm working on keeping up with the young as I creep into my forties. Enter my very late discovery of "RuPaul's Drag Race!"

This week I finished the latest season, which aired earlier this year, and was excited to see so many Latine queens in the cast of season 16. A total of SIX contestants vying for the crown during this historic season with a fusion of cultures and Queer excellence, redefining the drag landscape. Seprately, the Drag Race Mexico Season 2 finale was last night, and this weekend, I will attempt to binge both temporadas. Wish me luck!
