It's been a while since I last shared my meal online. Not even on Instagram!
I took a picture of my sad tacos in CDMX, that's Mexico City. I call them sad because they're nowhere near as delicious as the bountiful "street tacos" from the San Diego-Tijuana region where they're filled with thick arrachera steak, guac, and the obligatory cilantro, onion, and salsa. In the country's capital, the meat is thin, the fixin's are sparse, and often DIY: Β‘No Taquero, that's your job! Amirite!?
