On the red carpet in San Diego

Caught on the red carpet during La Revista Bincional's Fall Edition launch mixer at the swanky University Club atop Symphony Tower in Downtown San Diego! I was fortunate enough to mix and mingle with the team and supporters that have brought the magazine to many cities across the US and I am excited to see it grow into Mexico. Stay tuned for more!

OPTIMISM: 💖

A quote from the silver screen:

“Sometimes you gotta create what you want to be a part of.”

— Geri, "Selena: The Series"

COOL FIND: 🕵🏽‍♂️

I'm excited to see friends Jenny and Kevin featured in the New York Times article about Mexican Americans recognizing and using their nationality and moving to Mexico. The article hits close to home as it touches on learning how to navigate and move between our two countries. It is significant to see that the NY Times has taken notice of people like us and recognized our experiences on a national stage. Read the article here!image

HOMEWORK: 📝

Goal Setting: We're approaching a time of reflection, gratitude, and new beginnings. Take some time to set personal goals that align with your bicultural values and aspirations.

OTHER STUFF: 📢

More of Eat Baila Travel. I'm so proud to share with you an intimate conversation about Latino identity. Thanks to Jenny and Kevin for inviting me to discuss identity and bicultural themes on their YouTube channel: Eat Baila Travel.

The response (in the comments) proves that this type of conversation makes us feel seen, validates our experience, and creates engagement opportunities for new like-minded individuals and hopefully inspires actions! Watch the chat!
