PICTURE: 📸
I had the chance to stay in Monterrey last weekend, and the view from the 20th floor of the Hyatt stopped me in my tracks. I took a picture of these glass towers that rose up in front of us, and just beyond them, like a cinematic backdrop, stood a crown of lush green mountains. Monterrey is a city of contrast and balance, picture modern meets majestic.

COOL FIND: 🕵🏽‍♂️
🎙️ A Mic to San Antonio’s Soul
Why is San Antonio considered the Mexican-American capital of the U.S.? The Buena Vista Project just dropped its first podcast episode exploring that exact question with guest Sarah Gould—and it’s a (lengthy but) must-listen.
Broadcasting from the historic Plaza de Armas, the show is a love letter (and sometimes a tough letter) to San Antonio’s people, politics, and passions. Think tamaleras to trailblazers, abuelitas to activists. Big thanks to Pocho Stuff reader and chicana Lucero for sharing this gem. xo
HOMEWORK: 📝

OTHER STUFF: 📢
🏠The Woman Behind That House
The most photographed set from Bad Bunny’s Choli residency! Now that the Super Bowl halftime show announcement chatter has mellowed, let's give it up for Puerto Rican art director Mayna Magruder Ortiz, who designed this place.
Inspired by a real countryside casita, the structure was built to be both beautiful and a functional part of Benito's residency, with a kitchen-turned-bar, vintage décor, and art by local legends. 🎥 Watch the BTS clip and hear how a last-minute call turned into an unforgettable moment.
That's it for this week's P.O.C.H.O. Stuff! Now it's your turn: Don't forget your Homework—uplift the feed with orgullo and show off your bicultural joy using #PochoStuff. Go get that "greatest day of your life" (as Lin-Manuel Miranda says!), and I'll see you next week.
