We’ve made it to November, which means the end of the year is in sight, but miles to go before I kick back and sip the cocoa… The list of teaching tasks is long right now, so today’s newsletter will be brief.

This coming weekend, MyStoryDoctor is hosting a short story intensive… which I will be teaching. If you’re interested in writing short stories and submitting them for publication, I highly recommend checking this one out. There will be a lot of information and resources over the course of three days in a small-group live workshop where we’ll dig into the techniques used in award-winning stories—with a particular focus on the Writers of the Future contest.
