Happy Halloweekend!

As the weather gets cooler and the spooky stories get both scarier and campier, I am excited to add Murder on the Barge Inn to the list of two-hour encounters filled with fun and fear.

For opening weekend, I'm running an ebook giveaway drawing: https://forms.gle/Qp8T9ns4YetynRgJ6

If you want in, click the link above and add an email address before midnight Eastern time. I’ll draw three names tomorrow morning, more if there’s a significantly high turn out for the drawing or if the novella hits “orange tag” status this weekend.

You can also find the book Kindle (including KU) and Paperback here: https://www.amazon.com/Murder-Barge-Inn-thriller-novella-ebook/dp/B0CLSBN5Q9/

For other fast, free reads with some seasonal flair but a happy-for-now ending, I recommend “Hollow Threats,” an Irving Tolliver case. Noir detective vs cosmic horror tentacle beings in the future—need I say more?

Also, currently available for $0.99, Cursed Collectibles delivers the spine-chilling backstories behind items that would otherwise collect dust in your attic. This was one of my first anthology publications and an awesome collection to revisit. One of my favorites is “The Ledger” by Martin L Shoemaker.

And finally, if you’re looking for some nonfiction, William Alan Webb is releasing a new history book this weekend—Killing Hitler’s Reich: The Battle for Velikiye Luki 1942-1943.

That’s it for me at the moment; I look forward to sending out books to the drawing winners.

As always, happy reading, and have a safe Halloween week.

Cheers,

Mike Jack Stoumbos
