The Chai Times #39// May I pray on your behalf?
Jul 01, 2022 12:01 pm
Dear ,
This Shabbat, July 2, marks the 28th anniversary of the passing of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, on the third day of the Jewish month of Tammuz.
The Rebbe's unconditional love to people knew no bounds. To the Rebbe they all belonged. He made them feel at home. The Rebbe's warm smile would heal every aching heart.
The Rebbe was always there, offering counsel and blessings, comfort and hope, and often, material help as well.
Over the coming days, tens of thousands of people from across the globe will be visiting the Rebbe's grave for prayer and to honor his legacy, as is customary when we commemorate the Yartzeit of a righteous person.
It would be an honor to include you and your loved ones in my prayers at the Rebbe's "Ohel." Please reply to this email with your Hebrew name and your mother's name, and those of anyone else you would like to be mentioned. If there's a specific need you would like me to pray for, please mention it as well.
May all our prayers be fulfilled,
Rabbi Mendy & Mussy
p.s. As always, we would love to chat with you over coffee or drinks, about Judaism, or just life - simply reply to this email.
