The best free attractions!

Hi there,
Three weeks and counting until we leave for China. To say we are excited is an understatement! Ensure you follow our social channels to keep up with daily updates on the trip.
Having travelled extensively with kids over the years, we know that the price of travel, accommodation, and attraction entries can drain your holiday budget. We are always looking for attractions with free entry to complement the paid attractions. Below, you will find what we consider to be some of the best free attractions in Asia.
- The free light show at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is called "Garden Rhapsody" and is a popular attraction for families in an expensive city.
- The Great Ocean Road in Australia showcases the best of the rigged Southern Ocean and its power. Entry to sites like the 12 Apostles is free.
- The Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur are popular tourist destinations. To reach this huge limestone cave, you must climb 272 steps.
- Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok is the largest market in Thailand. Also known as JJ Market, it has more than 15,000 stalls and 11,505 vendors.
- National Museums: Several National Museums are free to enter, including the outstanding Korean National Museum in Seoul and the National Museum of China in Beijing.
Most big cities will also have a free walking tour, which, in our opinion, is a great way to learn about a place. When we say free, they are technically free, but the guides live off the tips they receive, so please make sure you give them something for doing the tour.

This week, we invested in better-quality videos with the Osmo 3 Pocket. We have been using an original Osmo Pocket we bought in Freiburg, Germany, in November 2019. It has served us well over the last five years, but like all technology, it goes out of date and needs updating.
The Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Kit we bought includes the following:
- Osmo Pocket 3
- DJI Mic 2 Transmitter
- Battery handle,
- Osmo mini Tripod
- Carry Case
We look forward to showcasing the better-quality footage and sound that comes with the Osmo. This kit jumps out of the box and into action for those wanting to record their travel moments or make YouTube videos.
