We're excited to announce a new bilingual customer care opportunity with WEC Energy Group, one of the nation's largest energy providers serving over 4.6 million customers across Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota.
Position: Bilingual Spanish Inbound Customer Care
Production Revenue: $17.00/hour ($8.50 per interval)
Certification Revenue: $7.64/hour ($3.82 per interval)
Rates shown before Platform Usage Fee deduction
Training Schedule
Phase I – Instructor-Led & Self-Study
October 27, 2025 – November 20, 2025
Phase II – Certification Call-Taking
November 21, 2025 – December 8, 2025
No class on 11/11, 11/27, & 11/28
Class Time:
Monday – Friday, 6-hour class including 2 hours self-study
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET
Earn While You Learn!
Start earning revenue from Day 1 of training, plus qualify for these incentives:
✓ $100 Bonus – Service 13+ hours/week during certification and accept your first Production SOW
✓ $1.81/hour Extra – Service 12+ hours/week during certification (after Phase II completion)
Working Hours
Intervals Available:
Monday – Friday: 24 hours a day
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET
Most Intervals Available:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET
Special Requirement: 4 hours (8 intervals) required on Mondays
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer billing inquiries in English and Spanish
- Process payment deferrals and installment plans
- Resolve customer issues on first call
- Enroll customers in appropriate plans
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through empathetic, professional communication
Technology Requirements
- USB VoIP Headset (required)
- Dual monitors (required)
- Minimum 8 GB RAM
- Windows 11 (most recent version, fully patched)
- Professional, quiet work environment
Performance Metrics
- Commitment Adherence: >90%
- Quality Assurance: >86%
- Customer Satisfaction: >8.10
- First Call Resolution: >83.6%
Certification Requirements
- Complete pre-enrollment assessment
- 100% completion of self-paced modules
- Pass final exam with 90% or higher
- Service 6 hours minimum during Blended Apply
- Average QA score of 70% or greater
- Complete Security Awareness course (85% or higher)
- Service minimum 10 hours/week during certification
Important Notes
- Class Confirmation Deposit: $50.00 (non-refundable)
- Background check and Photo ID verification required (must complete within 3 business days)
- Random background checks may be conducted
- 100% attendance highly encouraged
- If you miss Day 1, you will be dropped with no exceptions
- Platform Usage Fee: 5% of invoice total
Bonus Opportunity
Upon successful certification and meeting performance requirements, you'll be eligible for cross-certification in:
- Part 1: MERC Service Choice (eligible for incentives)/NSI
- Part 2: Emergency calls
