Hi everyone,
I hope you had an awesome week. My students are officially on break after this week, so tutoring was pretty slow, but I made some big progress on the web design project I was doing. I also spent some time applying to jobs including an online advising position for a local college. But sleep and self-care went out the window since I had to flee my usual workspace since it was a construction zone all week. Both the A/C and dryer broke, but they're fixed now and the thermostat got an upgrade!
The Christmas event is today. And a reminder that there will be $300 worth of Amazon gift cards up for grabs. You can check out the raffle copter here. And I did my own mini giveaway with a $5 Amazon gift card.
AND I've got a special sale going on for "Rose is Spellbound." It's 99 cents until the 21st, so nab it while you can. I'm also planning a big blow out sale on my print copies for the end of the year...as soon as I take the pictures so I can put them up on Etsy. I'll send an email once they're up and ready to go. I'll even have "War of the Twin Swords" signed copies available for sale for the 1st time ever!
On the writing front, I wrote an edited version of episode 6 for "Poisoned by Love's Bite" and edited and posted a new episode for "Poisoned by Love's Bite". I'm a little behind on Snow's Captive, so that one will drop this week maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday.
My behind-the-scenes look at my writing for this week is about resources. One thing that really has helped me along the way is that, on top of the resources I found on 20booksto50k, I made a google doc pooling resources like good inexpensive editors, cover designers, promo websites, etc. This resource document was great when I was looking for an editor and wasn't sure who to go with or if I needed to set up a promotion for Christmas. Which I did.
That's all I've got for you this week. I just have one more question for you.
Are you a hot cocoa, apple cider, or tea person this time of year (or none of the above)?
I'm partial to all of them, but during fall and winter, I tend to favor hot apple cider, and I'm a glutton for the Starbucks caramel apple spice.
Have a great day and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Julia
