Look, we all gotta do what we gotta do to survive, am I right!? But I will admit I'm *that* mom that limits my screen time for my kids. How do we do it? 🚗 Road Trips: - First 30 minutes= Nothing at all. They can look out the window, talk to us, listen to the music playing etc (for the younger kids, we hope they'll fall asleep right at about this point!) - Next 30 minutes= Podcasts or music. They can listen to a kids podcast on their headphones or we can take turns choosing music on Spotify (this helps keep our sanity by not having to listen to TOO many "I'm a Gumi Bear"s If I can throw in my own DCFC in there!) - Next 20 minutes= Read (or if the younger one is still up, look at books) - NOW you get a (one) show on your tablet! ~Repeat!~ Long Haul Flights??? Ok, THAT'S a free for all.... You watch as many Blueys as you want, kids!!! What do you think? Insider Travel Tip For Budget Travel to Germany: No doubt you know you absolutely MUST eat the German pretzels here, right? 🥨 But what if I told you to skip the bakeries and instead to just head into most grocery stores? Inside, you'll most likely find a "Bakery Wall" like the one pictured and almost certainly the pastries, pretzels, and entire wall of goodies will be cheaper (and honestly JUST as fresh and good) as the bakery! For example, these pretzels are only .35 cents!!!! At the Bakery, they will be at least a Euro or 2.
