Here’s what Amaka is missing

Hello ,
I hope you’re not Amaka, but if you are, no fear. You’re in the right place. If you don’t know who Amaka is, find out here.
My single advice to Amaka is to stop blindly chasing money and focus on creating value instead.
Every venture she has tried out is a proven source of income for someone out there.
The problem is not her ventures, but her own personal lack of value. She needs to stop looking for the easy way out because there isn’t one.
Before investing in any business venture, it is important to invest in yourself first – acquire knowledge, learn the basic skills you need to succeed in that niche, shadow a mentor, intern at a relevant company, e.t.c.
Many skip this vital step in pursuit of quick riches, only to realize that they've wasted years on unsuccessful ventures. If ever it materializes at all, money without a foundation in value will eventually grow wings.
Let's consider a hypothetical situation where Amaka invested in skills and knowledge before wasting her time trying to dropship. Let’s say she took courses on digital marketing, which are available for free if she looks in the right places.
She could have learned how to run Google and Facebook ads, build a dropshipping website, research the best white-label companies to drop ship for, and build sales funnels, etc.
If she had taken six months to learn these skills, she could have started her dropshipping business with confidence and without having to emotionally manipulate her friends and family into “buying what she was selling”.
If Amaka had taken this route, do you think she would still be struggling financially in 2023? I bet you that she won’t.
Similarly, if she had done her research about crypto and blockchain technology before investing her time and money into a Ponzi scheme, she would have seen the scheme for what it really was and avoided the rollercoaster of dashed hopes she eventually faced.
The key to success lies in actions that create personal value, even if they might initially seem like a waste of time. While others chase wealth, a person of value creates it. Don't procrastinate on investing in yourself.
In the words of Odun Eweniyi (Co-founder of Piggyvest),
"Money is usually the by-product of the journey."
