I'd rather climb up small stairs than jump over big walls

Hello ,
A few years back, I had a fantastic time at the studio of Eko Fm.
After the show one of the producers of the show I was on asked me for my business card..
What I shared that I didn't do business cards...
The look on her face was priceless!
Next she launched into a series of questions to point out that I was positioning myself to loose opportunity simply because I didn't have a business card.
I tried to explain to her that relationships are not complicated and that people who want to keep in touch don't need a piece of card to do that...
But she wasn't listening...
So I got out of the conversation...
I think that the idea that you have to grab every opportunity that comes your way as an entrepreneur is wrong...
You really don't need every opportunity and to be frank some opportunities are nothing but death traps even though they look really good at the moment...
Anyway...
The point of my rambling this morning is that there's a process to everything...
Nothing...
Starts out big...
Everything starts small and grows..
We need to keep this in mind when making offers...
People hate making big commitments or taking any action that's hard to back out from.
Giving people a low risk first step is a powerful way to move people in the right direction.
So...
Next time you're thinking of pitching people on your offers...
Think carefully about the commitment you're asking them to make.
Kam...one of our diamond level members on HPEN has a program he currently sells for $100,000 per client.
Yup...
You read right: $100,000
It's pretty interesting how he sells that.
He doesn't ask for the full commitment at once.
Instead he asks for a $10000 payment up front from a number of prospects to attend a VIP Intensive with him...
Usually he gets 20 to 30 people in a room.
Then at the end of the day...sells limited spots on the program...usually 5.
All they have to pay is the balance of 90k.
He gets full subscriptions to the program every time with a waiting list of 6 or 7 more.
The chances are high that if he asked for the full amount up front...
He probably wouldn't fill the program each and every time.
This is the kind of thinking we develop at the 97 day challenge.
Just a few days left before the early bird offer goes bye bye!
Till tomorrow.
Play a bigger game.
CTM
