To make up for yesterday...

I'm extending deadline for taking advantage of it to midnight tomorrow.

Today I'm going to be digging into 10 key rules I follow for building a community around my message...

It actually gives you a framework for installing the mindset you need to have in order to build a vibrant community that forms the basis of a very profitable community.

Where did I learn these rules?

Well primarily from listening in on conversations my father had with his political cohorts.

For those of you who don't know...

My father was a political genius and a master when it came to creating Mind Viruses.

In fact his campaign slogan: Make Poor Man Follow Chop..

Is still regarded as one of the most powerful rallying cries in the history of Cross River State's political history...

With it...

He whipped up quite a frenzy at the polls...and connected with Cross Riverians in a way that has only been matched by the campaign of Donald Duke...former Governor of Cross River State.

So...

Rule Number 1: Have a plan but stay open to pure unadulterated luck

The worst thing you can do when building community is to be so focused on implementing your plan that you're not aware of breakthrough opportunities opening up for you.

Rule Number Two: Fall in live with your clients and market and not with your products and services

Many times we get so sold on a product or a way of delivery without paying attention to the market and her needs.

That's a pretty good formula for disaster.

Rule Number Three: Train your mind to turn fear in to fuel for success

Fear is your worst enemy as an entrepreneur.

The antidote for fear though is commitment: the decision to act in your own best interest in spite of your fear...

It's feeling the fear and still doing what you have to because you're committed to doing it.

Rule Number Four: Develop a sense of humor

Stop taking yourself so seriously.

Learn to laugh at your self and take a more relaxed approach to life and business.

Rule Number Five: Get Support, Get A Mentor

A short cut I've discovered works for achieving literarily anything is to find someone who has done and duplicate what they've done...

The change though is that more often than not what they actually do isn't what you see on the surface.

It's only in getting close that you really get to understand what's actually going on beneath the surface.

Rule Number Six: Focus on doing what Eddy Murphy refers to as epic sh*t that matters..

In other words...

What are the five to six things in your work that if you focused completely on doing them..

Would give you the most leverage in your field...

Rule Number Seven: Lead with compassion

Never lose touch with your humanity.

Don't let success of any kind make you forget what it's like to be a decent human being.

Rule Number Eight: Make love the filter for all your decisions.

It's pretty amazing how simple life gets when you make decisions...

Even business decisions based on...

Love for God...

Love for yourself..

Love for others...

Can open you up to possibilities you never imagined.

Rule Number Nine: Be Authentic

All ways be true to who you are.

But also remember that who you are is constantly growing and evolving.

Commit only to things that you believe in.

Remember that you always have a choice.

You might not like the choices you believe are available to you...

But it's important that you own responsibility for where ever you are right now.

But even more important it's important to know that you can change that.

Rule Number Ten: Serve, Serve, Serve

The true purpose of any business no matter what you're doing...

Is to create and keep a customer.

The key to doing that is with service and committing to creating an experience they'll find hard to get anywhere.

So there you have them...

These 10 rules are about doing business a totally different way....

A business that's designed to provide you with not just an amazing opportunity to change and affect people's lives...

But also to the ability to do work you like, when you like, how you like, and with who you like..

Whilst making a ton of money building a business and life that actually means something to you.

Meanwhile...

Speaking of business...

Next week monday..

25th April 2022...

Is when we officially kick off the 3rd cohort of the 97 day challenge for 2022..

I'm pretty excited about this particular challenge.

To kick things off and to set the tone for the challenge...

I'll be running a 5 day workshop on TribeCraft: the sales and marketing frame work that sits behind the Community Mastery Methodâ„¢.

If you sent me an email concerning my request a few days back...

Be on the lookout for an invite to the workshop as my very special thank you.

Till tomorrow
