Hey there..

Abit of gossip..

So I've got a few people in my inbox...

5 of them actually...

Almost every time.

I make an offer...

The response comes back.

'interested'

They get sent the details or invited to a call...

Occasionally they ask a few questions...

Or even book a date for a conversation

Then...nothing.

Until the next offer they are 'interested' in.

These days when I get "interested" from these five I typically don't respond.

It does them a dis-service to pretend they are considering something...

When they live in the world of alternatives.

Being open to alternatives is the preserve of the interested.

If you're always looking for newer and seemingly better alternatives.

But never committing to any of them.

Because it feels good to have the feeling of control over alternatives.

Like Tuface would say:

Ya on a long ting

But...

Actually making a decision immediately eliminates any fantasy...

And exposes the interested to the very thing they are secretly terrified of.

Responsibility.

Yet to achieve anything at all...

We must commit to something.

First to an ideal..

Then to ourselves being worthy of the ideal.

The thing the interested always miss is that it's less important what you're committed to.

It matters that you commit.

Only then can things start to work for you.

The path will twist and turn..

And the outcomes might not look like your original ideal.

Often they look better.

But only with commitment.

Moving from interested to committed is the choice.

Choose wisely.
