When I watch period comedies...

Especially one with the British royalty in it...

My favorite phrase is disturbingly "Off! With!! His!! Head!!!

Sometimes it was said to punish..

Sometimes it was just for entertainment....

The funny thing though was that the court jester always seemed to get away with saying all kinds of things, especially when they criticized the king or queen.

And it's still pretty much the same today...

And no...

I'm not saying we have court jesters today...

But we do have comedians.

And they are some of the most quoted, most celebrated, and most influential people on the planet.

The really good ones don’t just make people laugh..

They make people think differently, more deeply, and more passionately about things.

When they do that....

It’s not just mere entertainment.

My all time favorite is Dave Chappelle...

This foul mouth, trash talking, wise guy, drops a lot of wisdom and insults in a well blended cup of absolute genius...

Knowing how to mix wisdom and entertainment (infotainment) is vital to success online.
