[TDM] The most powerful messaging secret
Apr 15, 2022 7:01 am
Hey there people!
First off...
A very big thank you to those of us who took the time and made the effort to write in and share their thoughts with me...
You literally made my day.
If you didn't find the time...
There's still an opportunity to get it done today.
The question is: WHO is Victor Bassey to me?
Over the past few days we've talked about quite a lot of things were building community around a message...
And launching what I refer to as mind viruses™...
Now that we've laid the foundation....
I believe it's time to start getting into the serious side of messaging...
A good place to start is with identifying what your rally cry is...
And just in case you're wondering if I just going to drop that rather impressive combination of English words, and leave you to it...
Don't worry...
I gotcha...
A rallying cry is a word or phrase that is used to make people join together to support an idea, cause, etc.
For Apple when Steve was still around...
It was...
Think Different...
I have no idea what it is now...
For Martin Luther King and the American civil rights movement...
It was "We shall Overcome"...
Back in Nigeria..
A few years back it was "End Sars!"...
"Bring Back Our Girls!" was a rallying cry that brought people together.
In our space...
SmartBcamp's John Obidi amplifyed his mind virus when he started saying:
Use what you have for what you have is plenty...
For me it's: Play a bigger game..
In my work with men...the rallying cry is:
Be a better man than your father...
See where I'm going?
What are you rallying against?
What is the source of pain?
What do you want people to move away from?
You need to identify this and also link it back to the enermy you're fighting as a source.
the dictator as a source.
Remember...
In our space...
The enermy very often is not a person or even a spritual entity or principality...
Just in case you're wondering.
What conversations...experiences or proof can you create that will allow people to step
into their reality enough to want to change what’s not working?
Once you nail that...
You can then use that desire to create a shared rally cry that both expresses “what must end” and unites people in making it happen.
Ideantifying what the rallying cry for your community and mind virus is...
Is powerful.
Not just because it leads people away from pain...
But also because it leads them towards something better and you need to be a part of that something better.
Till tommorrow...
Play a bigger game today than you did yesterday.
