Yeah I know...

Like Paul and Gloria...

I used to be a Jack of all trades...

Master of none...

I chased tactics and loopholes and hacks...

Never going deep with anything...

I was always looking for that magic pill..

That would change everything...

I didn't know...

That the so called magic pill...

Was a set up from very clever marketers...

And gurus...

And I fell for the lie every time.

And the gurus knew it.

They were pros...

I was an amateur...

They were always one step ahead...

They wrote copy specifically for people like me.

It was like taking chocolate from a kid

(Not that I know anything about that #straightface)

But at some point...

Life forced me to grow up and I changed.

Now I know...

Just like Fifi and Edward...

That building anything great is a process...

Not an event...

I understand that in order to build a business

for the long term...

I need to show up daily...

And do the hard work...

Consistently...

I know that...

The daily business work might get easier...

But the daily deep work on myself never stops.

I know that the road isn't easy...

And that it requires pig headed determination...

Like Fifi and Edward...

I now know that my biggest opportunity online...

Is focusing on doing the work...

To build...

My private weird audience of people worth

serving...

And solving interesting problems for them.

And yes I know..

The Pauls and Glorias...

Sometimes get lucky and make a lot of money...

But because it was built on a foundation of luck

(right place at the right time. It happens #sigh)

It’s not repeatable...

And eventually that “business” crashes and burns.

I know that luck isn’t a scalable and repeatable business model..

So I choose to take the time to lay deep foundations early..

Over time I've found that the results of taking the time to..

Earn trust and attention is impossible to ignore.

I know better than to value scaling a business

bigger...

Just for bragging rights and ego...

Instead like Fifi and Edward...

I chose to remain intentionally small and extremely profitable...

Whilst leaving room for whatever level of growth I might later want.

Knowing that making my business better is more valuable than...

Making it bigger

And whilst the Pauls and Glorias...

Trawl the internet looking for more and more information...

I understand that execution trumps theory..

Every.

Single.

Time.

So my library is filled with books and courses I've actually read and used...

Rather than simply...

Material I've spent money on but never even peeped in.

I could go on and on..

But I think you get the gist...

The good news is that you get to choose to operate

And think...

And behave as...

Paul and Gloria...

Or

Fifi and Edward.

It’s just a decision.

And it’s all on you.

As Steven Pressfield once said:

“You have a choice. Do it or don’t do it.”

There is no easy way tho.

It doesn’t exist.

If you think there is...

You’re on what we call a long ting.

There’s only a hard way...

Filled with trauma and obstacles.

So deal with it.

It's the only way to move from being...

A Paul and Gloria...

To being a Fifi and Edward.
