So yesterday I shared my thoughts

on lead magnets...


And why...


A building a bad audience...


Essentially sets you up to be...


The targets for customers from hell...


Who ultimately become principalities,

powers and spiritual wickednesses...


In your business...


#shudders


Today I want to give you an example...


Of just how clear you have to be about...


Who you want in your audience...


In order to set the stage for having...


Really awesome customers..


Who ultimately become awesome clients.


You need to be clear...


About who you want:


Customers from heaven..


And who you don't want...


Customers from hell..


I'll start first with my definition of customers

from hell...


Let's call them Paul...and Gloria...


Paul and Gloria are:


Basically opportunity seekers...


They make decisions out of a fear of missing

out on something...


So they'll sign up for your course...


Not because they read the sales letter...


Or watched the information video...


But because their friend paid for it..


And they don't want to miss out...


They are focused on value extraction...


In other words all they care about is what

they can get...


Unfortunately they're not even clear about that...


What they want changes every day...


Depending on the new shiny thing...


They just discovered...


They are committed wannapreneurs...


AKA...


I wanna do this...


I wanna do that...


But they never get round to doing it.


They need someone to always inspire them...


They are motivated purely by money...


That money first mentality means...


They value transactions over relationships..


They're always looking for short cuts...


And are constantly distracted by the latest

"thing" in town...


They never want to leave their comfort zone..


They made decisions based on how fast or

easily they can get money...


And even though this mindset keeps getting

them into trouble...


They never learn...


They never keep their commitments...


They focus on short term results...


And sacrifice long term benefits...


They spend most of their time...


Investing in freebies...


And copying strategies they haven't

taken the time to understand...


They are always overwhelmed...


Busy...


But focused on activities that don't really work.


They are consistently hunting for the next

hack that will bring them mega results...


Without work on their part...


And they definitely don't invest in themselves..


To develop the capabilities they need...


To produce the results they say they want...


I DON'T LIKE PAUL OR GLORIA..


See how clear I am about who I don't want?


This is very important...


If you want to succeed with your marketing.


And your sales..


Online...


And offline.


Because I know who I don't want to attract...


I'm very clear about what I will not do online.
