what is important to you?

Hey there!

Let's get right in to it shall we?

We're talking about the concept I refer to as your #1priority™

Now usually Your #1Priority™ is the answer to the question “what’s the most important thing to you?”

Hint: It’s not the first and most obvious answer that comes to you. It’s most likely the reason why what you think you want is important.

For instance, a lady I was working with a while back claimed that the most important thing to her was money.

But after a bit of questioning, we found that it wasn’t actually money but peace of mind and what she wanted money for was to ensure peace of mind.

A gentle man I worked with on this thought his most important thing was his relationship with God but it turned out to be more about Trust than it was about God.

It takes a bit of digging but after a while it gets clear.

And I would recommend you work with a skilled Certified Community Mastery Practitioner to get it right.

Getting this wrong would mean pretty much building your practice on a faulty foundation of miss aligned messaging.

Once you’ve identified Your #1Priority™, your next step is to define it.

This is vitally important if you want to codify your values.

My #1Priority is Power.

For most people this comes as a bit of a shock given how I talk about my wife and kids.

I define power as the ability to do what I want, when I want, how I want, and with who I want.

If you understand that about me it’s pretty easy to understand how I approach the market and what drives me and what I do.

You need to do be that clear too.

Once you’re clear about your #1Priority™ and your definition of it, the next step is to codify into a framework and name it.

This is important because as long as you’re out in the market selling yourself and your expertise...

Pretty much everything that you sell rises and falls on what’s important to you.

In fact, I’ll dare say that you are pretty much on a mission to enroll everyone in your most important values, whether you’re conscious of it or not.

To codify and name your #1Priority simply ask: “What are the 5 most important things to focus on in order to achieve the definition of your #1Priority?”

In my case, given my #1Priority™ is Power and my definition of that is the ability to do what I want, when I want, how I want, and with who I want – the 5 core things to focus on are:

· Mastery

· Relationships

· Money

· Assets

· High Performance

Whilst I could just leave it at that, I decided to take it a step further so:

· Mastery becomes Get Good

· Relationships becomes Get Known

· Money becomes Get Paid

· Assets becomes Get Leverage

· High Performance becomes Get Rewired

Starting to look familiar right?

To name it I had to think about the definition.

Here’s how my thought process went:

The ability to do what I want, when I want, how I want, and with who I want infers that my thinking about Power is based on influence.

Influence is about people.

Large numbers of people influenced in a specific direction is a movement and movements are essentially made up of communities of people with common interest.

Master that and you have power.

That’s where the name the Community Mastery Method™ came from.

Once you’ve codified and named the framework based on your #1Priority, the next step is to define the framework.

It’s important to note here that it wouldn’t be a one and done definition.

The fact is you’ll develop multiple different definitions depending on your focus in the moment.

Here are different definitions of the Community Mastery Method I’ve come up with over the years:

The art and science of creating, leveraging and monetizing influence.

A framework designed to help experts become high profile, highly paid person of influence in their fields.

A thinking process for creating, leveraging and monetizing a tribe of true fans.

A high level strategy for launching a movement around any message, product or service.

A market place leadership protocol designed to help corporate leaders develop a high performance culture with their organization.

A structure for leading nonviolent social revolutions that sparks economic growth and stability in African States.

A process for restructuring family dynamics after a betrayal

All these definitions have given me opportunities and expert positioning in multiple different field.

So now you have your framework based on your #1 priority, in the Community Mastery Method™, we refer to this as your Distinct Solution System™ (your DSS – for short).

Your DSS forms the primary basis of all your personal branding efforts in the market place.

It provides you with all the benefits of a personal brand without any of the downsides.

This is where you start with your branding effort.

Now just to be clear, if you’re not yet at $10,000 a month in income from your practice...

I recommend you make your SolutionFrame™, the focus of all your branding efforts.

That's it for today.

Tomorrow...

We'll talk about the (H) in S.H.A.R.P...
