“The key to making the impossible possible is to make the invisible visible”
— Howard Getson
Hey there!
My goal with Tribemasters is simple: Help you become more powerful.
That fundamentally mean providing you with principle based tools, strategies, methods and techniques that you need to be able to produce the results you want.
On the surface the conversation I'm having with you might seem to be about becoming a high profile, highly paid person of influence or building a wildly successful and highly profitable global practice that matters...
But make no mistake...
Ultimately this is about you: A strategically more powerful, more intelligent YOU.
Over the past few days I've shared a few ideas from one of my favorite people: Kam.
Now most of you might not know this but Kam was the very first person to write me a check for the Diamond Mastermind and for a year - it was just me and him.
Back in 2015 - was my very first $10,000 check (N3.6m at the time).
Think about that for a minute.
I send you a pretty powerful document talking about a program that will change your life and connect you with people who are just as powerful as you are or even more so...
But then I tell you...
"Erm...it's $10k to join but once you make your payment it'll just be me and you until I find the other amazing people I told you about"
Would you have made the investment?
Well Kam did and later when I asked him why he said: "You have what I call proximity to reality - in other words you live in the real world with your ideas"
I don't know about you but coming from a billionaire - that is one of the best compliments I've received in a career spanning three decades.
I share this because my work gives my exposure, proximity and access to people far smarter than me.
And that in turn (the exposure, proximity and access) over the last 3 decades has done a lot in helping me recognize, harness and maximize my potential.
I have created over time an environment that consistently up levels my awareness about what's possible for me.
Now just incase you're wondering - in the Tribemaster Framework - environment is defined as an ecosystem of relationships, information and technology helps you achieve things you currently think of as impossible.
Kam always says that exponential success is an emergent quality - in other words you can't hard work your way to exponential success. It comes as a direct result of having certain things in place.
In my experience those things are relationships, information and technology.
The idea that you can succeed anywhere is true.
However what they don't tell you is that the level of success you achieve is capped by the environment that you are in.
So thank God for the internet and social media.
Knowing how to use it has turned this former 3rd class graduate of management and magna cum laude ex-butcher in a summa cum laude trusted advisor to some of the most powerful and influential people across Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North and South America.
It really doesn't get more global than that - and all from my place of no regret here in City of Lagos.
Question: How do you apply this?
Well it starts with you understand this
Known potential is found through frequency, doing the work consistently. Unknown potential is awakened through intensity, exposure, and proximity. - Kam
That means:
First...
You're going to work you butt off to become someone of value.
If you're just starting out AKA you are in the early stages of your career - think of the next seven years as you foundation laying period.
And the goal is to be world class. - have good name recognition in your space and the ability to relevant to the people you want to be connected to.
Fortunately the internet gives you access to information.
Get access to the information and then step into the arena with it.
Stepping to the arena is our fancy way of saying don't just get fat on information get out and apply it and see if you get the results promised.
If it works - document your success on line with a blog.
These days there are powerful blogging platforms that combine the power of social media with he distributive power of the internet - substack, beehiv and medium for instance.
If you have your expertise locked in and have been around - publish your distinctions on these platforms.
The discipline of writing forces you to clarify your thinking and starts to win you the recognition of your peers.
Second...
With recognition comes exposure, proximity and access.
The internet and social media give you a platform for easily building relationships that expand your awareness of what's possible.
What you do with that is simply a matter if what you think is possible for you.
As more and more people get to know you online, curate relationships with people who represent the future you want.
And then go to work building that relationship.
Just like it is offline being relevant and useful further than just your name recognition.
That said - there are some levels of access, exposure and proximity that you will have to pay for in cash and time.
Your ability to create massive value might get you the recognition of these people.
But for the most part you have to pay and show up consistently in order to play.
Again the internet makes this a lot more easy than it might otherwise be.
That's it for today.
Till tomorrow..
Get out of your own way
