Hey there people!


First off...


In my last email I asked what I could do for you...


Your responses proved one basic thing to me:


Birds of a feather actually do flock together...


Considering that I'm generally considered as borderline insane...


Go figure...#evillaugh


By far the most common request I got was for my brain to somehow leave my head and stay with you for a day...


#sigh


I'm tired of sending virtual copies of my brain so I figured I'd do the kinda sorta next best thing...


Share a process I use anytime things get pretty tough business wise...


It's a strategy that has gotten me out of trouble many times...


Thanks to it...


Using my new facebook profile and starting from scratch in 2020...


And smack in the middle of the pandemic...


I sold more than 200 people into a $5000 program and sold more than 1000 seats in the Brand Acceleration workshop internationally


Do I have your attention?


It's also the strategy that keeps filling my pipeline of clients even though I haven't actually been present on social media as much this year as in past years...


I call it the 10mins Client Generator™ and it consists of 8 simple actions that you invest 30mins in each and every day...


  1. Introduce two people in your network who should know each other.
  2. Share a compliment with someone in your network by telling them they did a good job or acknowledging an accomplishment.
  3. Share a useful article or blog post with someone in your network you think might enjoy it.
  4. Reach out to someone you don’t know with a targeted and well-researched note that provides value or shares compassion.
  5. Make an offer to one person each day to have a sales conversation. They may say “no”, but at least make the offer.
  6. Give one referral, recommendation, endorsement, or review to a member of your network.
  7. Ask one person in your network for a referral.
  8. Speak at least once a week on your subject matter to an audience of at least 50 people


These 8 things were my marketing and sales plan in 2020.


This may seem like a lot, but in actuality it doesn’t take much time.


What it will do, however, is start the wheels turning again in your business.


Make it a habit.


Schedule it in your planner.


Set a maximum time and do the best you can with the list.


The more you do it, the easier it gets...and the more effective it becomes.


Can you commit 10+ minutes a day for the next 30 days to doing these 8 things?
