21 ways not to be stupid

Hey there!

It's a quiet morning for me.

And even though every now and them I feel totally confused, I can't help but be grateful.

A lot of good comes from just moving forward in faith even when you don't have all the answers.

So this morning, I figured I'd share a few Community Mastery Method™ PowerIdeas with you...

PowerIdeas that help you keep the main thing the main thing whatever that might be for you as you build out your practice.

1. Don't let your current reality rob you of a better life. Just because you haven't experienced exponential growth doesn't mean it's impossible for you.

I've often found that obsessive focus on the gap between where you currently are and where you want to be can rob us of the happiness we all deserve.

When it comes to building fast, paying attention to how far I've come and learning from my mistakes is more useful than focusing on how far i am yet to go and worrying about why I'm not moving faster.

2. A terrible business model can make you money but it will also kill you in the process. Focus and build a lifestyle Movement Based Enterprise™.

Built right, an MBE™ is a practice model leverages all the benefits of a practice and a global small business and the alignment with who you are allowing you to build a practice that actually serves you and your highest priorities.

3. If you don't have a movement funnel™ set up...you business is on very shaky ground.

Whether you're building a practice or a business, a movement is essential. A movement funnel is a strategic sequence of messages sent to your market based on their level of connection with you.

It regulates your relevance and ultimately how much money you make.

4. Fast growth sometimes also means very little money left in your bank account. So...grow fast slowly.

I've learned that every one wants to scale until you actually start scaling and then realize it's not really as fun as you thought it'd be.

It's much better to focus on consolidating every single stage of growth that it is to rush off to the next.

What's the point making a million this year and never being able to make it ever again?

5. To produce better results sometimes you have to consume less information. Streamline your mentors.

Focus is powerful.

Janet once shared with me that it's an acronym for FOLLOW ONE COURSE UNTIL SUCCESSFUL.

Jumping from strategy to strategy, tactic to tactic without giving them enough opportunity and time to lock in is a key to wasting what you have.

Find someone who has a system for getting the results you want. Then lock in on learning and applying what they teach.

Don't mix systems until you have achieved mastery.

6. Get ready to let go of friends and relationships that don't serve your purpose.

Relationships represent leverage and opportunity for the facilitating goals and agendas.

Sometimes to move forward into a bigger future, you have to disconnect with some people.

But be careful about closing doors. Never slam them shut. You never know when you'll need to walk through them again.

7. If you really truly want to grow...make it okay to lose all your money.

Growth often means something has to die. More often than not that thing is your bank account balance.

You can't allow yourself to be afraid of being without cash.

Most people think being cashless means being without options for taking care of you and your dependents.

If that's the case then you have bigger problems than the money that's not in your account.

8. The difference between N300k a month and N30million a month is not lifestyle... It's mindset.

Here's the thing...

Mindset is pretty much a decision about what are willing to settle for.

It's what you are willing to trade life for. And make no mistake, we trade life for a lot of mediocre things each and everyday.

9. Wealthy people are not impressed by your lifestyle...they're impressed by the unfair advantage you give them

When working with people of means..

Your lifestyle is the very least of your positioning advantages.

Make no mistake, it's important to show up in a way that doesn't make them uncomfortable around you.

But the truest measure of your worth is the thinking and results you facilitate.

10. At a point in your journey...its smarter to forget about your bank balance and focus instead on cashflow. If you don't understand that...come and let me pray for you.

When you are just starting out...

Or...

Trying to fight your way out of debt...

Cashflow is vital to your survival as a practice.

Protect the integrity of your fees but by all means bring in the cash.

11. Thank God that you're not yet aware of the amount of suffering you'll need to endure to become the next version of you.

12. The bigger the goal and ambition, the more insane the emotional highs and lows.

Once you cross $250,000 a year in revenue...

Emotional detachment from results is your only protection

To be honest, learning emotional detachment from results is is vital at ever stage of results.

13. All good things come from a 100% commitment to making a difference in the lives of people.

Whichever way you want to look at it in this AI infested world, people are still your opportunity.

15. If you must hustle, make it about out behaving, out performing, and out classing the person you were yesterday...everyday.

Focus on being your future self now to the best of your ability and compare how you're doing today with how you did yesterday.

Track the difference, make the connections.

You'll be grateful you did.

16. If you don't know, ask. Then shut up and do.

Don't get into the habit of forever researching answers and never actually getting round to doing anything.

17. Wealth is not a lifestyle...its a mindset.

Again...

It's a decision

18. Every dream can only go so far without a team. But if you build your team before you're ready to lead, a man without a team will run circles around you.

Leadership is everything.

Fortunately it's also a skill that can be learned. Learn it.

19. As you grow and implement the community mastery method, people will completely underestimate how wealthy you are.

It's not how much money you look like you have.

It's how much you actually have.

20. Never focus on the sale...

Focus on the relationship and the transformation you're engineering

21. Get to work!

Need I say more?

That's it for today.

Tomorrow I'll share a bit about how you create a strong sense of community by using symbols, language, and messaging that emphasize shared goals and values.

Done right, it's a very powerful way to build loyalty and engagement.

Till then.

Get out of your own way.
