You and me, one-on-one, now!

Hey there!

Let's talk about one-on-one ongoing support.

You can offer one-on-one ongoing support...

I'm talking...

Coaching...

Mentoring...

Connsulting, advice, or whatever...

Bottomline...

Your fees reflect the value you create, the fact that clients are getting direct access to you, and the duration of the support.

I’ve deliberately kept One-on-One work to the end of this list for a very simple reason.

As a practitioner of the Community Mastery Method™ in your field..

You are the ultimate prize.

A common mistake too many experts make is that they make working directly with them one of their first low ticket offers.

That immediately depositions them.

In effect, they’re saying

“You (the client) are so important that I will drop everything and make myself available to you personally.”

So you pretty much do everything to get the clients including setting fees that don't help you get anywhere.

Now don't get me wrong...

Remember I'm the guy that offered pay what you want sessions at the start of HPEN to get things rolling...

That was done as an over all part of a strategy.

It's not the same as setting yourself up to be thought of as a slave with elite level perks.

I once had an ambassador referred to me.

She called and after a few quick questions...

I decided I going to work with her.

I offered her my actionplan consultation (back then it was $1000).

She suggested that we meet in person at her private office...

And against my better judgement, I agreed.

But I informed her that we start on time and that if I'm there 15mins and she's not, I'll leave and there will be no refunds.

She agreed.

Brethren!

That's how I got there and 30mins in...

Madam was no where to be found..

Couldn't even reach her via phone.

So I left.

I'd barely rounded the corner from her place when my phone rang.

There she was screaming about how unprofessional I was and that if I wasn't serious I should refund her money.

I didn't say a word.

Just waited for her to be done and then got off the call.

Then I forwarded her our agreement.

Madam reported me to the person ( a client of mine) who referred her.

I politely explain the situation. And apologized to my client for any inconveniences caused.

I didn't hear from Madam Ambassador for about a month.

One day I get a text from a number I didn't know asking for my account details?

Turned out to be her assistant wanting to book an actionplan consultation on her behalf.

So I declined and insisted that she reach out personally reach out if we were to take a booking.

I didn't hear from her for a few months...

Then my phone rings and it's her.

First she goes on and on about how I have to be more flexible if I want to make it in the world.

And eventually asks to book another consultation.

Again I clarified the rules and insist on a virtual meeting...

And also clarified the circumstances around which I would leave the meeting.

Sent her the documents to sign and sent her payment details.

She made the payment + idiot fees ( A 30% to 50% surcharge for acting the fool).

This time around she was on time and the consultation went extremely well.

Later she sign to work with me at a higher level and has been on her best behavior ever since.

My point?

Understand and remember your role.

You are NOT their adhoc staff.

And typically...

Unless you're working with an underground criminal organization or terrorist organization...

You typically have a choice in who you accept as a client and how you let yourself be treated.

That said...

As a practitioner of the Community Mastery Method™...

Your positioning as the one everyone wants to work with, whatever it takes and however much it costs...

Is baked into your implementation of the method.

That's pretty much it for today.

Tomorrow...

You get my sprint report and then it's one more sprint to the end of my first 60dayyear™.

Got a lot to tell you at the end of that sprint...

But let's get tomorrow out of the way first.

Till then...

Get out of your own way.
