January 5th 2015...

I opened the doors to The Highly Paid Experts Network (HPEN) on Facebook for the very first time.

I started HPEN for two basic reasons...

First...

To share what I've learned through epic levels of failure about becoming a high profile, highly paid person of influence.

Second...

To one day raise a community of 1000 financially free thought leaders who come together regularly to solve problems that matter.

Imagine with me if you will...

The impact of having a 1000 financially independent thought leaders each put together $100,000 a year to fund education in Nigeria.

Every day I meet so many smart, gifted kids who are wasting away simply because their parents lack the resources to give them world class education...

Imagine a school where the only criteria for being admitted was intelligence and the will to succeed.

A school where any child who actually wanted to make something of himself or herself...

Would have the opportunity to do just that at a world class school and with access to world class teachers and not have to worry about fees. 

That's where this all started for me.

The journey from that first day to today has been amazing...

Along the way...

I've had doors opened for me that typically I wouldn't qualify for..

And built amazing relationships that I'm still grateful for today.

But I've also made a ton of mistakes over the past seven years...

The good thing though is that some how I always find the courage to own up to my mistakes and correct them as soon as possible.

In 2020, I made the decision to take HPEN off facebook.

That decision has been a bit of a roller coaster...

Primarily because it took a while for me to crack the code on what would bring people together on a platform outside facebook...

It took a while because I didn't really pay attention to how much I'd grown and evolved...

So basically I was trying to use the same strategies I used to build HPEN on facebook to build HPEN off facebook...

#pfffft

It's so true when they say what got you here wouldn't get you there.

But like I shared earlier...

I think I've eventually cracked the code...

And though it's going to mean a lot of work...

I'm fully committed to building HPEN into a total support system for becoming a high profile, highly paid person of influence in your space.

What that means in common English is this:
