How to not create clients and die poor
Sep 11, 2021 12:01 pm
Hey there
I hope I'll be seeing you this evening at our very first #hpenconnect meeting.
Today's a full day for me...
Starting with one of my clients launching his new office complex...
To speaking at 2 events...
And finally hanging out with us at #hpenconnect.
What's your day going to be like?
Anyways...
As I sat outside typing this...
I legit forgot that I'd promised to share about the pit falls of level 4 and instead wrote this crazy but inspired email...
Only for me to remember at the last moment...
#sigh
So I've deleted the email and now I have just 10mins to bang out what I promised...if I'm to get this to you by 8am WAT...
So...here goes...
Here are the top things that would ruin any chance of success at level 4:
1. Not having a clear offer.
If your product or service needs to be more clearly defined and customized, you’re not yet ready to make an offer recommendation.
If you do, you’ll come across sounding unsure of yourself and you’ll undermine the trust (comfort and confidence that you will do as you say you will do.)
2. Getting nervous when asking your prospect to take action.
This is often the hardest time to keep your mind focused on THEM and not on YOU.
You’re about to make a sale.
You LOVE and WANT to make sales.
It’s so hard to forget what you want at this stage!
Especially if they’ve raised some objections and seem to have some fears about going ahead..
Even though it’s clear to you that they need what you’re selling.
Don’t let this trip you up.
Remember that you are here to lead them.
So lead.
3. Committing yourself to any one method, product or solution for achieving a result.
Instead focus on the result and be flexible in how you achieve it.
Too many have become insignificant or nonexistent...
Because they were wed to one particular technology or product instead of being wed to helping their clients continue to get a certain result.
It’s OK to advocate one method or product today and a different one tomorrow when you’ve learned that there’s a better one.
What isn’t OK is to commit to the superiority of your method and ignore all evidence that the world has moved on.
Phew...
Still got 3 mins to spare...
Imma just take a sip of my coffee here..
And then press send...
Have an awesome day.
CTM
