How to turn thinking into a profit center

Hey there.
So...
Once every 90days...
I get to hangout with the amazing Janet Switzer.
We talk about a lot of things...
But the highlight of these times together for me has always been what she calls the Quarterly 3: three questions that help me simplify everything I'm doing.
I can't tell you what those three questions where for this quarters...
They're proprietary.
But I can tell you what they led to.
Over the weekend, as a result of this quarters Quarterly 3...
I asked 14 of my best clients a simple question:
“If I stripped everything else away from IST, what one thing would make you stay?”
The answer surprised me, but it also clarified a lot.
You see...
They did not say more templates, more calls or more content.
They said:
Access to your thinking.
Real time support.
Your ability to see problems before they arrive.
The way you help me look good to my own clients.
Your presence.
Your ability to simplify things I thought were complicated.
One client said that access is worth $10,000.
Another said £75,000 a year.
Another said they would be willing to pay 40% of their annual revenue to remain in that kind of relationship.
But my favourite response was:
I can't think of anything that would make me want to leave Victor Bassey

Here's what I got from that...
Most of us are not under informed.
We are under supported at the level of decision, direction, interpretation, and execution.
You do not need another course sitting in a dashboard.
You need a thinking environment.
Counsel....
Someone who can look at what you are building and say:
“Heres what you need to do.”
“Focus on this only.”
“This is a trap.”
“This is the opportunity.”
“This is how to simplify.”
And that's what I'm building IST to become.
A strategic society for experts who want to build a high trust, high value practice with doctrine, counsel, foresight, and real time support.
I am opening a private note this week on what I now call The Proximity Advantage.
It digs into why the next level of your practice may not require more content, more visibility, or more complexity, but better access to the right thinking.
It's free and will be available by wednesday.
If you'd like a copy, reply with the words: The Proximity Advantage and I'll add you to the list of people I'll send a copy to.
For now...
Get out of your own way.
