Intelligence is increasing your ability to get what you want - CTM

Hey there

So today we're talking about mastering your money but the three sins that I'll be sharing pretty much impact everything else that we do as Tribemasters.

These three sins are behaviors or states of being that prevent you from increasing your ability to get what you want.

AKA...they keep you stupid.

Like most sins, they each have their own attraction points and false benefits..

SIN 1. BEING A DULL TRIBEMASTER

So if you remember from earlier issues...

Our definition of intelligence is “the ability to get what you want”.

If you’re increasing your ability to get what you want, you’re learning.

Our definition of learning:

“same circumstance, different behavior”.

If you’re not increasing your ability to get what you want, you’re not becoming more intelligent.

You are progressively and successfully becoming more and more stuuuuupiiid.

I'm sorry but that's just it.

If you find yourself in the same circumstance and your behavior isn’t changing, you’re not learning.

I don't really care what it is you say you want...

All I care about is that you are actually doing the work to increase you ability to get it.

Don't bullshit yourself.

So just to be clear...

If you go through a training event, get multiple ahas and celebrate it and then come back a year later in the same life situation...

You. Are. Being. Dull.

Don't. Do. That.

SIN 2. BEING A DISTRACTED TRIBEMASTER.

Yes!

I get it.

You have a lot going on.

Here's the thing though...

If you have so many things going on that the most important things aren't actually making any progress...

You are distracted!

That happens primarily because you simply haven't taken the time to prioritise what matters...

And so that leaves you open to chasing whatever impulsive idea or shiny new object that comes into your life.

Biko....

Don't. Do. That.

SIN 3. DON'T BE A DELUSIONAL TRIBEMASTER

Have you ever met someone that can’t see things for what they are?

They’re in a bad relationship...

Everyone can see how toxic it is for them, but they can’t see it.

They’re living in delusion. #delululand

If you're one of those people who thinks you're the best thing since ekpang nkukwo that when tiy clearly aren’t…#welcometodelululand

When you reality continues to fail to meet your expectations...

Consistent progress is pretty near impossible.

Reality is not the problem, you’re being delusional.

Every body japa to senseland - you zipped over to delululand simply because its easy and you really don't want to face the truth about yourself!

So those are the three sins.

The good news is that being dull, distracted, and delusional are things that you are doing.

They are not who you are.

That means you can choose to step out of any or all of the three sins by simply stepping into the arena.
