Happy New Year....

Yes...yes....I know it's been a while.

What can I say...life happens to us all.

The important thing is that: We. Are. Still. Here.

And you've got to be brain dead not to be grateful for that in spite of anything else that might be happening in your life.

So...

2024 is here finally. What do you do?

How do you ensure that this year is the first year of the best years of your life?

What you should be looking for?

What's important?

And what deserves your attention and commitment?

This morning I'm going to help you with that.

Once you understand what you should be looking for...

You should be able to turn around and help your own audience understand

what they should be looking for too, how to value it and then offer it to them.

Cool right?

I know...

There's going to be a lot of noise about what you should focus on:

Facebook ads...

Products...

Courses....

High ticket pelu low ticket....

To be honest...

It can be pretty overwhelming and confusing...

Don't let them get to you...

There are only three things that are important to focus on in 2024....

First is Collapsing Time.

We want what we want and we want it fast.

We want relief or achievement in the fastest time possible.

This is the thing that people value the most...

And it’s the thing that the right people would pay the most for...

But even though I listed this first....

It cannot be the first step.

Why?

Speed without certainty is one of 1000 official stupid ways to ensure you never get anywhere.

There has to be complete certainty about our path...

We can't say we're collapsing time and then me changing direction all

the time....

So let's talk about...

Certainty...

Certainty is about being sure that we are on track and have charted the

most efficient path forward.

We need to be able to say “Given the rate I am going I will reach the things

that matter to me in a timeline that is acceptable, even if not ideal”. 

However...

We cannot have certainty until we have....

Clarity

Clarity on our current position ( where we are now)

Clarity on our desired outcome (what really matters to us)...

Clarity on the most efficient path forward given what we know now about ourselves and what we want. 

Don't be like those people focused on collapsing time without certainty

or clarity.

They end up running all over the place like the proverbial headless chicken.

They never get closer to the things that really matter to them.

So the sequence is important...

First get clarity.

Then get certainty...

And only then focus on collapsing time.

So what does this mean for you?

First...

If you do not have clarity on where you’re at, where you want to be

OR an idea of the most efficient path forward...

You should invest in short-term engagements focus on diagnosis

and general planning.

Second...

If you have clarity, but not a certainty...

Invest in things that help you stay the course.

Having someone or something watch your blind spots, identify when you’re making a decision from scarcity, etc.

Third...

If you have certainty and want to collapse time...

You’ll need a high-level thinker that can discern the effect on other areas of your life as you make moves.

In other words, don’t buy speed if you don’t have a map and don’t trust a map if it wasn’t built 100% custom for you. 

So..

Here's your 2024 Playbook.

As a consumer:

1. Get clarity. Invest in audits, deep dives, definitely therapy. Find people that will spend more time figuring out who YOU are and what YOU want than selling their own thing. 
2. Create Certainty. Once you have clarity, invest in a medium to long-term support structure that will prevent you from getting knocked off course or blindsided. 
3. Collapse Time: Invest in a program, partner, or offer that can get you there faster without knocking you off course or introducing risk. 

As a business owner:

Clarity:

Sell audits, deep dives, and diagnostics with a short commitment.

The marketing of this should focus on helping your audience understand

why they need custom ideas and not general ideas that don't work.

Develop tools that help them self reflect and make high quality decisions.

Certainty:

Sell support in carrying out the action plan generated in the audit with a longer time commitment. Share content that educates your audience on certainty and share tools to keep people on track

Time Collapsing:

Sell getting there faster.

The irony is that if people have clarity and certainty...

You really don't have to market this to them.

They will sell themselves on speed.

If you're going to do any marketing on this...

Make it about being focused and avoiding shiny object syndrome.
