Day 3: Mastering Your Market
Hey there!
Welcome to day three of our Tribemaster Transformation Ecourse.
Yesterday, we unpacked how to Master your Message.
Today, we're diving into Mastering your Market.
So What Exactly Does "Master Your Market"?
Err...
Thought it was obvious...
But since you asked ever so "nicely"...
Mastering your market means two core thinking:
- Knowing who you want to serve
- Building a community based on that person.
Bottomline it's about being the trusted advisor for a specific group of people with common goals, challenges and dreams.
.
Typically in the Tribemaster Framework™, we think of this person we want to serve as being on a journey in relation to us...
They start of as seekers - people who know they have a problem and have no clue what the solution is but they are actively seeking for solutions.
Through a system of messaging we refer to as Content Alchemy™...
We transform these seekers first into customers and then ultimately into clients.
In the Tribemaster Framework we say our goal is always to create and key a customer.
And so if you look at the image I've shared with you above what you find is three core groups of people that make up what we refer to as our MARKET.
The audience of seekers.
The tribe of customers
The circle of clients.
These three categories of people combined is what we refer to as our market.
The beauty of this is you don't need a lot of people to make a lot of money.
Back in 2020, I made $3m+ from a list of just 142.
Currently my total list is 316.
Think about that for a bit whilst I take a long sip of my cold brew.

Now lets back up a bit.
At the beginning I shared that Mastering your market is about two things:
- Knowing who you want to serve
- Building community based on that person
I've given you a clue as to how to think in terms of building community.
But how do you know who you want to serve.
The answer is two fold - yes I said two fold, I'm feeling kinda funky today.
First...
If you're just starting out - meaning you know your stuff but you're only just getting started building your practice...
You have to think in terms of problems you solve NOT what kind of person to work with.
And that's because more often than not demographics don't really matter online and second - you probably don't have enough data to give an intelligent answer to the question: who do you serve.
Second ...
If you've been around abit and you understand your market...
Then tap into the power of values and beliefs and focus on bringing people with specific beliefs and values together.
Why?
Primarily because the ultimate goal is to build a movement powered by diehard customers and clients.
So how exactly do you implement this?
You activate the Tribemaster Practice Accelerator™
Start with your circle of clients - build this first.
Then build your tribe of customers
And finally your audience of seekers.
Here's some work for you to do to kick start the implementation of this:
What problem do you solve?
What are 5 struggles people with those problems have?
Brainstorm 3 unique ways you can address the struggles you listed above?
Post about that online and seek how people respond to it.
If you have a great response - consider creating a discussion group for it.
Invite members of the discussion group to have a conversation with you.
Tomorrow, we'll explore how to Master your Money, turning your practice into a thriving, sustainable money machine.
Till then.
Get out of your own way.
