Are you irresistible?

Feb 03, 2024 7:55 am

Hey there!

My life affords me a number of privileges..

One in particular that I don't take for granted is the awesome superpower of being able to request that my eldest daughter make me a pot of Afang Soup....

Literally at a moments notice.

And she does it with the sweetest smile.

The kicker for me is when she gets a call and in response she's like: "Please hold off on everything till tomorrow, I'm cooking for my father".

(She runs her own business #prouddaddymoment)

Kinda reminds me of the scene from Coming to America where the King is told guests from all over the world are waiting and he bellows:

Let. Them. Wait!!! I'm taking to my son.

Anyways at some point...

I'll be in my office and that darn irresistible aroma will come sneaking in to say hello...

Add to that the aroma of freshly made hot fufu and I'm done for the day.

It took me a while...

But I finally figured out how to make my offers irresistible the moment I'm in front of a client..

And make no mistake...

There's power in being able to write great copy...

But that's only a fall out of being able to have great conversations about what you're bring to the table.

So today I'm digging into the eight most important things your offer must have in order for your market to want it...

1. It must have a clear, measurable, singular outcome.

Let's start by getting something clear...

There are generally two kinds of outcomes you can provide for your people.

Objective outcomes. These are measurable outcomes that even a 12 year old will be able to know has been achieved.

Subjective outcomes. Those are outcomes that you can't measure.

We generally want to focus on objective outcomes that deliver on the 4 key results that people generally pay high ticket for:

  • Make money
  • Save money
  • Get out of ot stay out of trouble
  • Live a better life

If you can tailor your outcomes to these 4 then you have a great chance at an irresistible offer.

2. It must showcase a clear path from your prospects frustrations to the outcome that they want.

One core reason why we have trouble making irresistible offers is because we end up creating more confusion for the people we're making offers to.

Having a clear path gives you the ultimate advantage of clear communication.

3. Productize. Productize. Productize.

Most of what we offer as experts are pretty much intangible...

And so it's difficult to get people to relate to it sometimes.

That's why creating a SolutionFrameā„¢ and representing it as a graphic model is one of the most powerful ways of taking an intangible but of knowledge and making it tangible.

4. It must represent a unique way producing a predictable outcome.

This I cannot stress enough.

The people in your market are exposed to a lot. You've got to differentiate yourself by bringing new thinking to the problems that they have.

New thinking that takes them beyond the thinking that created the problems in the first place.

5. Tap into a large and hungry audience

One way to think about your offer is you want something specific enough that you can be known for it and yet general enough that a large number of people want it.

Why?

So you can create options for yourself.

You want something that creates leverage for you locally and globally.

6. You want to bring a unique solution to a competitive market

Contrary to popular opinion, you don't want to avoid competition.

Competition is great.

Competition is actively taking advantage of other people's market research.

It's easier to make a splash in a competitive market and create a tollgate position for yourself...

Thank it is to do so where you literally have to bear the cost of learning from your own mistakes alone.

7. Only solve big critical problems

The irony of that statement is that in solving one big problem...

Remove 3 major obstacles to success

Solve 9 small problems that create the obstacles...

By making 27 strategic, tactical decisions that ultimately deliver the outcome your clients want.

That's the power of a SolutionFrameā„¢.

8. Make sales and marketing unnecessary.

Imagine having an offer that literally markets and sells itself as you actively deliver it.

Imagine never having to worry about what content to sell or which one to give for free.

Imagine having an offer so powerful, it becomes an entire business all by itself.

That's what I hope to help you create starting February 24th, 2024 over the course of 4 Saturdays.

I'm talking about the Creating The Perfect Offer masterclass...

Details are in the TDM issue titled: How to save 10 years of pain.

This is the first and most critical step in building your practice.

I'm doing this at this investment level mainly because I'm updating the framework...

And I generally prefer to do that with an intimate small audience.

Once it's done...

The only way to access it would be as a student of Expert Business School.

Right now...

I just have 2 spots available.

Once they're filled....

We're done.

Remember when at the beginning of this I talked about my super power of being able to get my eldest to cook a delicious pot of Afang for me at a moments notice...

Well...

I activated those powers last night...

And breakfast this morning is looking particularly irresistible.

Tomorrow I share the 6 core elements you need to build an irresistible offer...

After that...

We're back on our journey towards building a powerful community of true fans.

Till then...

Get the afang out...

Sorry...

Get out of your own way and play a bigger game than you've played before.
