Let's talk about lead magnets..


You know what those are...


Right?


Just in case you don't...


Lead magnets are those bribes...


Marketers offer you...


In order to get their greedy hands on

your email address...


It's standard practice online...


My problem with it is that...


It generally populates your audience...


With a very low quality of potential

leads...


I've shared here how back in the

day...


I'd get email addresses like...

or


Youdeymadt@yahoo.co.uk


#sigh


Those were very traumatic times

for me...


So strictly from a Community Mastery

Method™ point of view...


It really doesn't work...


As well as we've been told it does.


Like I shared in this post on HPEN...


If our job is to first build an audience..


Then convert the audience to customers...


And finally...


Convert customers to clients..


The starting point is to make sure...


You have a great foundation of really

great audience members first...


Otherwise what starts to happen is

that you generate...


Customers who are actually..


Demonic representatives of hell...


Who ultimately become malevolent...


Principalities and powers in your business...


We don't want that...


So what do you do?


Well...


Flip the whole lead magnet idea on it's head...


In other words...


Rather than ask them for an email address..


Before they access your goodies...


Offer the goodies upfront...


And only after that do you offer..


Them the opportunity to join your audience.


Example...


Most of us on this list...


Joined because you downloaded my

But you only got the opportunity for

the most part...


Because you were already a member
