How to be irresistible in 6 steps

Feb 15, 2024 7:55 am

Hey there!

First off...

I want to apologize for yesterday.

I wasn't completely awake as I wrote TDM yesterday and so I left in the issue a rather scandalous statement that I really shouldn't have and with it a bit of confusion.

That said...

It's no excuse, given the quality of thinking that I want to bring to TDM daily.

Some how in my semi lucid state, I did manage to do something good.

I promised to share the 6 steps of the Trust Amplifier™ process.

But first...

A bit of context for what I'm about to give you.

Yesterday I talked about the fact that the Trust Amplifier can be delivered in a number of formats (TDM issue: From anonymous to irresistible in 8mins).

The format that I'm going to be fully focused on today is that of putting together an information kit that speeds up the process of turning complete strangers into true fans (customers and clients).

It typically consists of two things:

First is a checklist, not unlike the image I've shared.

The idea is something that is quickly and easily consumed by your prospect but not necessarily understood.

This check list is usually either one depicting your entire SolutionFrame™ or a step in your SolutionFrame™.

It's one page and contains just enough information to be useful but not necessarily complete.

The second thing is a video, audio or written guide that is 3000 to 5500 words long.

The goal of the video is to explain or teach the content in the checklist.

Now these two work together to turn a stranger to a true fan but the heavy lifting is done by the video, audio or written guide.

There's a format to getting that done.

Everything starts with a clear outcome.

Ironically this one took me a while to start giving attention to.

At the beginning of the video or audio or guide, it's very important to let them know as soon as possible what to expect.

In a lot of my previous resources, I spent way to much time on everything else but that.

Now I know better.

Example:

If I'm doing a video information kit to introduce the Community Mastery Method™...

I'd start with...

Hey there!

Thank you for making the time to watch this training. Over the 15mins I'll share with you how to...

  1. Point one
  2. Point two
  3. Point three

By the time we're done you will....great big outcome.

Next you've got to earn the right to their attention.

That means establishing proof that you know what you're saying...

You can leverage statistics, research, case studies, you past achievements.

Example:

Over the past 30 years working with over 10,000 clients as a performance consultant, I've learn a number of things concerning big outcome.

In fact these are the exact same such and such implemented to go from dash to dash with issues.

Bottomline...

What I'm sharing with you is proven and guaranteed to work.

Next you have to deal with the obstacles holding them back

This is primarily about helping them feel seen and heard, like you're in their heads and you totally understand their issues.

Typically you limit the obstacles to 3 to 5

Next you provide them with steps to get there

This is where you share the steps in your SolutionFrame™.

In sharing the steps in your SolutionFrame™, don't forget to add examples to really bring home the content.

Next is providing context.

This is vitally important if you want to provide a frame for how they think about their next steps.

It's important that you let them know that whatever you're sharing with them in the moment is a small part of an overall framework.

And take the time to hint on a number of the other steps they'll need to take.

Finally...Next steps

This is where you inform them of what to do in order to move forward.

What you want is a conversation, you don't want to just invite them to an opportunity to speak with you.

You have to productize the conversation.

I'll share how to do that tomorrow.

Now understand this...

In the beginning, as you build your MBE™, productizing your conversation is vitally important.

Done well, it becomes an asset that can be licensed.

But...

As the intimacy and connection with your tribe grows, it becomes very unneccesary.

Your people will happily jump at any opportunity to have conversation with you.

Tomorrow I'll dig into that some more.

For now...

Try your hand at this 6 step Trust Amplifier™ process.

You can use this to...

Put together a talk...

Structure a book...

Structure and entire webinar or seminar

Create a sales letter...

Write social media or blog posts...

Have every day conversation...

Pretty much anything...

You're welcome.

Till tomorrow...

Get out of your own way...

Play a bigger game than you've ever played before.

CTM
