Why “Haters” Usually Mean You’re Doing It Wrong

Hey there

So...

Monday....

We had our very first ActionPlan Intensive....

It's pretty much a 2hr stint where we think through the next 60 days days of activity...

Your offers, messaging, sales cycle, targets etc

Anyways...

Whilst going through the process with the Tribemaster® currently in IST...

I remembered a popular idea in business that sounds tough…

But quietly keeps people broke.

And it's this:

You know you’re doing something right when you start getting haters.

Pttff!!

I get why people like this belief.

It turns confusion into confidence.

And discomfort into validation.

But here’s the thing...

Having haters isn't proof you’re winning...

It's proof that you’re unclear.

When your message is fuzzy, people fill in the blanks however they want.

When your offer is broad, everyone thinks you’re talking to them.

And when people feel included but not understood

They push back.

Argue.

Question.

Mock.

And guess what...

That friction gets labeled as growth.

But it’s not.

Clarity behaves very differently.

When you’re clear about:

  • who you help
  • what you help with
  • and who you’re not for

Something interesting happens.

The wrong people don’t attack you.

They disappear.

They scroll.

They unsubscribe.

They move on without drama.

Meanwhile, the right people feel relief.

Like someone finally said the thing they’ve been struggling to put into words.

No debates.

No defending yourself.

No comment wars.

Just alignment.

So why all the noise about hatters?

Some creators like resistance.

Because conflict gives them identity.

If people are fighting you, at least you feel relevant.

But that’s not leadership.

That’s theater.

Real leadership doesn’t need enemies.

It needs direction.

So if you feel misunderstood…

criticized…

or constantly challenged…

Don’t call them haters.

Ask a better question:

What am I being unclear about?

Your promise?

Your boundaries?

Your audience?

Your role?

Clarity doesn’t mean everyone agrees with you.

It means the right people recognize themselves instantly…

And everyone else moves on quietly.

That’s what hater free growth looks like.

Quiet.

Focused.

Sustainable.

This isn’t a social media trick, by the way.

It comes from a framework I’ve been building to help people create trust before they sell and show results without hype.

I call it The Trust + Results Operating System™.

It’s not about posting more.

It’s about being clearer in the right order.

Tomorrow I’ll show you where clarity actually starts…

And why most people try to fix it in the wrong place.

Till then...

Get out of your own way.

CTM

P.S. If you’ve ever thought, “Why do people keep misunderstanding me?”

You’re closer to the answer than you think.
