A spattering of thoughts

Hey there!

So today is pretty much a bunch of thoughts from my life experience yesterday...

Why?

It was a pretty cool day.

Yesterday I had a consulting session with the lead consultant for an organization I hired to look into the processes I'd documented for the International Society of Tribemasters.

The gentleman shared a number of things with me but the one thing that stood out was that what people generally see as responsible for the success of a commercial enterprise is very different from what actually powers it.

I found that a very interesting analogy or should I say metaphor.

Why?

Because it's so easy to get caught up in the things that ultimately don't really shift the needle for you depending on what stage you are in your practice.

But...

There was one other thing he said after I'd presented my plans to him that truly made.my day...

He said..

Victor it would seem to be that Tribemasters is about two things:

  1. Helping people think and make better decisions
  2. Getting people to partner with future versions of themselves.

When I heard that I literally told him to stop for 10mins...

If getting out of your own way ever had a definition...

This. Was. It.

It was a pretty exciting moment for me because he gave me words to articulate something I hadn't been able to articulate well before then.

Yesterday I had a conversation with one of my clients who will be joining us in the International Society of Tribemasters in a few weeks...

And the conversation was about our responsibility to our clients.

My take was that our job is simply to serve our clients by removing roadblocks between them and their goals...

Even (and especially) if that roadblock is the client themselves.

This might mean "tough love" once in a while...

Not allowing clients to cling to unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior...

Calling them out in a healthy way when they're not living up to the standard of what they say they want.

Your job isn't about making your clients fill good or be happy - unless of course you're in that other kind of business. #nojudging

Your job is to get them the results you promised them...

It's not to be their friend.

Customer satisfaction is not the same as customer success.

Start from a frame of service...

Your job is not to be popular.

Your job is to help the client get what they need.

In other news...

Got a workshop scheduled for the end of the month..

I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.

Till then...

Get out of your own way.

CTM

PS: When you're ready, there are fundamentally 4 ways I can help you succeed on your journey to building a wildly successful and highly profitable global practice that matters:

  1. If you're just joining us and have no clue what we're about, I recommend you read my new book "The Tribemasters Practice" it'll give you a grounding in the Tribemaster Framework and a plan for getting to your first $25000 a month from your practice.
  2. You've started your practice but You've been struggling to get to a consistent $10000 a month from your practice. Tribemasters Academy might just be right for you. It's a $1500 a year investment. Hit reply and let's have a conversation about that.
  3. You've been around a while, gone past the $10,000 a month mark but You're stuck and would like to break through to $25000 to $80,000 months. Then the International Society of Tribemasters might just be right for you. It's a $10000 a year investment. Again, hit reply and let's talk.
  4. You are a high performer doing $100,000+ a month and you want private support to achieve seemingly impossible goals over a 12 month period. ProjectXponential might just be right for you. It's a $50000 a year investment with very strict criteria for joining. If this is you...let's talk.
