How to leverage big money experiences

Mar 02, 2024 7:55 am

Hey there!

It's a sleepy saturday morning for me here in Lagos...

And it's one of those days when I just want to lie in bed and do nating!

But hey...

Since I've got nothing but love for you...

Here I am again with your daily dose of TDM love.

So today we get into the conversation about Big Money Experiences (BMEs) and I'd like to start by going into ways that these money experiences create mega value for you and your tribe as you build out to...

150...

1500...

And 15,000+ customers.

Oh by the way...

If you currently have 15,000+ customers and you're not actively building an exclusive relationship with them...

SHAME!

Anyways...

Here are 10 ways that BMEs create magic for you as you build out...

I call them BME value paths™. The more of them you put in play in your work with people...

The better for you.

First is the feeling of being a part of something and connection to a community of like-minded people facing similar challenges.

This is incredibly powerful and the leverage this provides is insane.

Second is accountability.

For many people...

The key to taking action is telling someone that you are going to do something...

And knowing they will be checking on a certain date that you followed through.

It's a powerful forcing function.

Third is implementation

One of the mindsets we have in the Community Mastery Method is charging a premium for implementation and low to free for just information.

In the world of AI where content is pretty much everywhere...

The ability to generate desired results is a major super power.

So whether you're creating tools that support implementation...

Or helping your clients directly to implement...

Or outright doing it for them...

Implementation is key.

Fourth is education.

Providing them with new skills and capabilities is a high value benefit.

Fifth is feedback.

The ability to access and environment where you can get feedback that is from a place of pure support is incredible.

Feedback that you can trust and that directly impacts the results you produce is very high value.

Sixth is mindset.

And I'm not just talking about telling me I have to fix my mindset with a bunch of affirmations that may or may not take for ever to influence my behavior...

I'm talking about actually providing tools and helping your clients install mindsets that move them forward on a day by day basis....

Providing a structured experience for taking care of their mental and emotional health.

Beyond just giving them a new way to look at the world or approach a situation.

Seventh is support

As Teclaire, one of my diamond level clients put it:

Sometimes I just want to feel like I have your arm around my shoulder as I work through this.

Creating an environment where your clients feel supported is powerful.

Eighth is simplification

We live in a complex world.

Many people just want someone to reduce or prioritize the possibilities so it’s easier to make a decision and move ahead.

But don't over do this...

You also want thinkers not people who leave you to do their thinking for them.

Granted having people let you do their thinking for them makes life easier for you...

In the long run, the consequences are not so fun.

Ninth is inspiration

This is about helping them get out of a rut or get started.

Tenth is Motivation

Some clients need a push to take the first (or next) step towards achieving their outcome.

Now...

You’re not limited to just installing one of these in your programs...

And to be honest the more levels you can work with your clients on...

The better.

They will get more value from their experience with you....

So you can charge more and it will be easier to get people to sign up.

For example...

Janet my mentor of mine used to run a high-ticket program where she taught participants how to design their first information product (Education), while her team built their sales page and wrote the sales copy (Implementation).

That right there is a $65,000 investment per client.

Your clients will be looking for all of these at different times.

You don’t have to build them all into a single program or service..

But you should to have a plan for providing each of the value paths.

So when a client tells you something like...

“Erm...what I’m really looking for is feedback”

You can immediately reply..

“Well, I have two programs that are designed to provide feedback. Would you like me to tell you about them?”

In choosing how you’ll create value for your clients...

Think about your own strengths and weaknesses and your unfair advantages

If you’re a great coach, you’ll probably want to include support, feedback, and direction.

If you’re well connected...

You can put together a very inspirational program or event by tapping into successful people you know.

If you’re a strategist and big thinker...

You will probably want to avoid getting deep into implementation and double down on strategic planning and feedback

The other major consideration will be time.

Some of the BMEs I'll be telling you about last hours or days...

Others are delivered over a period of months.

In a short experience...

You may only have time to teach your clients or implement a small deliverable.

Here's the list of BMEs again...

Workshops & Short Programs

Laser Coaching

High-Contact Group programs

Power Days & VIP Days

Masterminds

Done-For-You services

1-on-1 ongoing support

Tomorrow...

I'll breakdown workshops and short programs.

I'll breakdown price points and what's possible for you in today's expert space.

Till then...

Play a bigger game...

Get out of your own way.
