Why you must only sell results and not effort

How do you need to think about yourself and your work in order
to attract the attention of quality clients...?
I'm talking to about people who not only willing pay you...

But also happily refer you....
Especially if you live and work from a country Nigeria...
Like I do.
How do you gain the trust of quality people from all over the world?
This past Saturday...
I started the conversation by talking about the power of your messaging...
Today..
I'd like to take that conversation further.
You see, you messaging has to be based....
Not on...
The quality of the information your are sharing...
Or...
The quality of the work you will do for them...
Or...
The amount of time you are committing to working with your clients...
Nah....
The kind of people we are talking about care about one thing and
one thing only...
They ONLY care about results!
I share this because...
When we charge a premium for our knowledge and expertise...
It's very easy to fall into the trap of stuffing up...
Simply because we feel we have to justify the price we're charging.
I know.
Been there. Done that.
It took a while for me to learn that...
Working hard to justify the money a client is spending on me....
And helping a client win...
Are two completely different things.
You need to learn and be comfortable with that fact too.
So...
CTM help my life! How do I do this?
Calm down. Let me explain.
The key to all this is found in how you capture, package and distribute your intellectual property AKA the wisdom in your head.
There are two levels of packaging you need to have for your wisdom and expertise.
First is what I refer to as your Distinct Solution System® (DSS® for short).
This is the fundamental system that sits behind everything that you do in
the market place...
It's based on your values and NOT on a problem you've identified in the
market place.
It's your defining body of work.
This is vitally important because once you have this clearly mapped out...
It's extremely difficult for anyone to duplicate your results.
And so you have a toll gate position in the market place.
Your DSS® evolves as you do...
It's literally the productization of your personal values and beliefs.
In my world...
The Community Mastery Method™ is my DSS®
Second is what refer to as your SolutionFrame™.
This is basically your wisdom organized to solve a specific, identified, measurable problem in the market place.
It's what you sell in multiple different formats: courses, books,
events, consulting, coaching, speaking, etc
Every SolutionFrame™ by default finds expression in your DSS®.
How do these two work together?
Think of it this way....
You get people to buy into a future represented by the values and beliefs
of your DSS®...
Then you help them develop the clarity, confidence and capabilities they need to
create that future using your SolutionFrames™.
Example...
The future I'm leading you to, for the most part, is becoming a high profile, highly
paid person of influence in your field.
That's the future promised by my DSS®
Once you've bought into that future...
I literally do not need to convince you of the value of investing in yourself
through any of the SolutionFrames I've created.
At the point...
If I ask you for $5000 to join the 97day challenge in order to implement
TribeCraft™ (one of my SolutionFrames™)...
It's no longer about me proving whether or not I can deliver the result...
It's now about what options you have available in order to be able to quickly
get the support you need to implement and move closer to the future promised.
This is an incredibly powerful place to be.
So let's tie this all up.
The reason you have to be serious about developing your DSS® and consequently your SolutionFrames™...
Is the depth of conviction that it gives to you.
I'm talking about the conviction that comes from knowing, that you
know, that you know, that for sure you can deliver a result on a
repeatable basis.
It's way beyond just delivering information (which is what most do).
As practitioners of the Community Mastery Method™ what we are
called to do is so much more elegant.
It's about transformations and consequently delivering results at multiple
different levels...
So much so that you clients see you as a life time resource.
The big question though is this:
How do you do the thinking needed to deliver at this level?
That's what we'll dig into tomorrow...
