I don't know about you but I LOVE THE FOOD CHANNEL!

My wife hates it!

Not the food channel....

What she hates is just how much I LOVE THE FOOD CHANNEL

Why...?

Well usually I love to try out the recipes...

Especially the ones by my man Garvin....

The problem is...

By the time I'm done...

The kitchen looks like hurricane Katrina just passed through.

My point?

First...watching Garvin cook and not at least trying it out is just plain crazy!

Just like dreaming about starting a practice...

And attending workshops and reading blog after blog…

Book after book..

But never actually do anything about it!

Don't kid yourself into thinking you are judged by what you aspire to.

Life doesn't work that way.

Second...

When you do start to take action...

Things will get messy.

I promise you that.

But that's no excuse to not get off your butt and do something!

Yes my kitchen is a big mess when I'm done cooking...

And sometimes...

The results of my cooking isn't even edible...

But each attempt brings me a step closer to better results.

Same goes for our dreams...

Of becoming a high profile highly paid person of influence..

Sometimes we get good results...

Some times we don't..

Sometimes we even get into trouble...

It's all part of the experience and very valuable.

Third...

You don't always have to clean up your mess alone.

Asking for help is a skill we all need to learn.

My kitchen messes have been incredible opportunities for my wife and I to do things together and bond even more.

And if you've never tried kitchen table sex whilst waiting for the noodles to get done...

Walahi...

You have not lived!!!

Anyways...

The messes we create in the market place...

Give us the same opportunities for getting to know more about our clients and partners if we just open ourselves to it.

Remember that...the next time you create a mess in your life or business or the pursuit of your dreams...

There's opportunity in messes.

So...

What ever that audacious goal is....

Get out of your own way and...

Go for it.
