my favorite products of 2024 so far

Jul 15, 2024 5:20 pm

Hey friends!

I hope your July is going great! I thought I'd share some of my favorite products I've used this year so far, as well as some of the top recommended barefoot shoes and a few other movement-friendly items that you can find on Amazon, as we're coming up on the Prime Day sale!

(If you are surprised at me sharing items from Amazon, know that I'm not one for mindless overconsumption, which sometimes happens with Prime Day sales and the like. I really do think it's so important that we are consciously investing in items and wearables that will truly serve us and last, as well! This is why I have a few things from Amazon that I think would be useful because it's always nice when something quality from there is offered for less, but as always, you're the best judge of what should come into your home and space. 🙂)

Okay enough intro...let's get into it!

Number 1: The product at the top of this list is hands down the TFC Solemate! I got my first one when I attended the Playshop in Chicago in May, and have used it almost every single day since. I've used it with clients, and love its versatility for people of every age and stage. I've already done one wholesale order for Alaska, and I'm about to place another one TOMORROW, July 16th, so today is your last chance to place an order. If you're an AK local interested in ordering one and not paying shipping, reply to this email and let me know so I can send you an invoice! If you're not local and want to purchase, use the above link, and my discount code should auto apply, but in case it doesn't, use the code TRAINERNATALIE

Number 2: My next product that I love is the Anything Butt Hemp Butter...and yes, this is exactly what you're probably thinking. It's a soothing balm that you can use for all your butthole drama like hemorrhoids, irritation, etc. BUT, (pun probably intended) you can also use it vaginally, on eczema, rashes, and other uncomfortable skin. Some people even use it as lip balm!! It's got all the best ingredients, and what's even cooler is that I got to go meet the owner / founder IRL when I was in San Diego last month. You can use the code TRAINERNATALIE to get 10% off your purchase.

imageNumber 3: My next favorite product I've used this year is the Movemate dynamic stability board!! Sohail from Movemate reached out to me after I was able to try one for a few minutes in Chicaco, and they sent me a board so that I could try it and confidently recommend it to clients. It's unlike a standard balance board, in that it allows for subtle movement of your feet (not just your ankle!) and it's stable enough to use while working. In fact, I'm typing this email while standing on it! You can watch this recent video I made about it here.

Number 4: Next on this list is my pair of Tolos Shoes! As some of you may know, I was a Vivobarefoot girl at the beginning of my journey with minimal shoes, and while they're a great option for many people, as my feet have expanded, I've found them to be too narrow. The Tolos model gives a similar ground feel and appearance, but is wider in the toes! I'm loving the textured insole that came with them, too for some added stimulation for my feet! Use the code TRAINERNATALIE for a discount!

Number 5: When winter slowly turned into spring this year, I looked down at my feet and realized that my pinky toes were further pushed in than normal, due to all the sock and warm boot wearing (albeit Xero boots..) and this is considered a Tailor's Bunion. I do not want that to be a trend, and I knew I had to act on it, especially with my hypermobility! I am loving the new Earth Runners' toe expanders for this. They open up the big toe and pinky toe like traditional toe spreaders don't, and I can spend way more time in them, because they are SO comfy. Always use code TRAINERNATALIE for a discount on Earth Runners' site. (Photo isn't my feet, although my tandals are coming along nicely this year.)

Trainer Natalie Approved Amazon Finds ⤵️

You'll want to add these to your cart now so that you're ready for the sale on the 16th and 17th!

A YETI water bottle: While I am not on the Stanley train, I love a good stainless steel water bottle and the YETI Rambler is my top fave. My husband and I have a few of these, so we can cycle through them...because they are dishwasher SAFE!! Love that for us. Fingers crossed that YETIs go on sale for Prime Day.

Sitting bolster: I have this exact one and it's the perfect size for sitting while I'm working from a low surface, or even watching tv! Bonus that it's an organic cotton cover and filled with buckwheat.

Kettle bell: While I haven't personally ordered this brand, this kettle bell has almost 8k ratings and 4.7 stars. It's gonna be solid, and looks like it's on sale. I highly recommend kettle bells, especially if you have only a few pieces of equipment at home, make a kettle bell be one of them! It's versatility is unmatched.

Saguaro shoes: I just stumbled across these foot-shaped water shoes that are so compact and look like they would travel super well for only $14.99. I've heard great things about this brand - just make sure whatever model you're choosing says "barefoot" or "wide toe box" and "zero drop" because not all their models are true minimal.

Whitin shoes: these are an cost-effective way to try out some minimal shoes if you've been toeing the line for a while and haven't pulled the trigger yet! Quite a few clients of mine have had great success with them!

Vivobarefoot has a store on Amazon! Who knows, they just might go on sale tomorrow, but it's always worth a check! I do need to try their newest models to see if they're wider than my current ones!

Not Amazon, but organic cotton clothing that's on sale!!

Pact clothing make up about 80% of my wardrobe, and I'm loving that they're doing an eco-prime day sale!

That's all for now, I hope this was helpful for you as you're adding more movement into your daily life! Have a wonderful week, friends.

Warmly,

Natalie
