A couple quick announcements:

  • For the locals: I'm excited to announce I'm offering in-person sessions at CrossFit Salty North in Wasilla on Mondays and Wednesdays. These are 1-hour one-on-one sessions where we go through assessments, personalized exercises, and a plan for moving forward. I recommend you do 3-4 of these to get the most out of our time together. Only $85/session! Book here.
  • The Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist Certification is happening May 20-21st at Innergy in Wasilla. It's a hybrid where you get the online course as well as the live sessions. Sign up today to start working on the online modules.
  • I'm going to be opening up my online course, Mindful Movement in Mere Minutes, for a second cohort in April!! Get on the waiting list now to be the first to know when the doors open.

imagePregnancy is such a wildly transformative season of life, and it can often be filled with doubts, insecurities, and other people's opinions.

Something to Read: article by me - How to Feel Confident, Prepared, & Mindful Through Pregnancy Pregnancy can feel like a series of unknowns, new symptoms, and strange body changes. This article breaks it down into trimester-specific areas you can focus on so you feel confident, prepared, and mindful. I also curated episodes of The Resource Doula and my favorite books and linked them throughout.

For your listening: some favorite podcasts

  • Birthing Instincts (great if you are questioning mainstream advice and/or if you want to know more about breech birth. Dr. Stu is famous for his approach to breech and teaching it to other birth professionals)
  • At Home with Kelly + Tiffany (great if you want to laugh and learn from two friendly midwives who tell it like it is)
  • Down to Birth (haven't personally listened yet..it's in my queue! But it comes highly recommended)
  • Evidence Based Birth (great if you love science presented in a mostly unbiased way)
  • The Resource Doula (had to inclue my own show, of course! great if you like to hear from a variety of health professions. I do all the question-asking for you.)

Something to swipe: favorite people to follow for educational and realistic advice
