Howdy ,
Something happened at work earlier this week.
I was trying to get a transaction to the finish line when my CFO rained on the parade.
She had been part of the process and only raised her point of concern as were closing.
Despite how far we had gone, I called off the transaction.
Due to her concerns.
And also because of who I am.
I have a natural tendency to see solutions when facing most problems.
There is always a winnable position.
Most times.
This is why I need to have people who bring up the risk issues I may be blind to.
At home, it's my wife.
She sees the possible issues to a decision, I see the possible winning positions to a decision.
Together, we make a better decision.
Who is the yin to your yang?
Do you have an accountability friend or a mastermind group that can see what you don't see when you are trying to make a decision?
If you don't, it's time to do that.
