Hey happy Tuesday! Let's chat about health and health data tracking. All over the internet there are many best ways. But to be honest, what we found may be indicative of behavioral trends. SEE WHY BELOW
Coach Austin Witt, M.S., ACSM-CEP, PN-1 (nutrition certified coach) here,
Happy Monday! Before we get into summer longevity is a topic that is highly talked about. Let's be honest, longevity is a hot topic and really misses most people due to lack of trust with health campaign ads or marketing.
I'm here to discuss what is actually getting results.
Interest in healthy aging is high, but engagement remains low— leaving a wide gap between aspiration (motivation) and action (doing the dang thing).
What Was Found. Longevity Archetypes:
First, the 2025 study by the Boston Consulting Group is a pretty solid qualitative study. In my opinion from years of research on health and exercise science.
The 2025 study examines longevity and health across many behaviors, social ideas, and more.
For example,
In the study age is one variable measured by the BCG Global Study of Longevity to see habits and behaviors.
Data: Sample size (n) is 9350 and here is what they found... habits/ behaviors make a difference along with engagement.
Here is what the researchers found of individuals who engage in evidence based activities that can impact health ⬇️
This is one of several measures that the consulting group researchers used to determine archetypes.
So let's talk about it.
SO The ARCHETYPES (aka categories of health groups): Which one are you?
Longevity Dismissers opt out.
Healthy aging feels too far off, too abstract, or not worth prioritizing, keeping them disengaged from the category.
Longevity Curious signal demand. (Start to wonder is a high motivator)
They consume content, follow the conversation, and express interest, but rarely convert awareness into repeatable behavior.
Proactive Experimenters don't stick with it.
They test supplements, wearables, diagnostics, and routines, yet lack the clarity, coordination, or feedback loops needed to stick.
Personalized Optimizers are more deliberate.
They connect data, services, and interventions around specific goals, moving from generic wellness to more deliberate health management.
Holistic Pioneers are all in.
This is the most engaged and most instructive cohort: consumers building integrated longevity systems across diagnostics, behavior change, technology, and care.
TL;DR: Longevity’s upside is real, but its positioning in marketing still misses the mainstream.
Here's what the researchers don't tell you!
Who we work with?
Individuals that use the personal optimization without extreme. One's that reframe the category around outcomes people already want — staying mobile, independent, and healthy for longer.
Here's what the researchers don't tell you!
We help move through stages of change with evidence based practice to help individuals feel more empowered and create long term sustainability.
