WATERED PINE
SHARON MOYO
A fenced garden, the thriving green grass
In it all. A single pine in the middle.
A spotted star. The world reaps the flavour.
I am only a lost pine.
Seeking no treatment nor attachment
Striving upon blossom, soon its growth
Shall shake the world.
In summer to Autumn, from
Winter to spring, losing its leaves, yet in no time growth is seen in rainy days.
Uncertain of the location, still blossoming upon Persistence.
I am a watered pine, growing in the
Middle of a fenced garden, usually
Cut off, yet thriving. The retard
Exposed, yet walking through the valley
Of achievement. I am only a pine,
Watered in a fenced green garden
