🐰 Niche website project update #7 [TL;DR Good month]

🍩 Good day, Donuts!

Happy Easter for those of you who are celebrating! Goldie grabbed the red egg, ofc. He claims that it wasn't the chicken first, nor the egg. It was him and then God created his successors. I am biased, so I can't argue with Goldie.

It's time for my April niche website project update, which I plan to grow and then sell for at least $1M. Of course, plans are different from what may happen in reality. However, each goal is much more doable by having a plan and an exact goal in mind. I might get there in a year time or five years. I don't know when, but I will get there.

My plan needs:

Habit. Persistence. (some) Smart Work. (and much more) Hard Work.

That's all I have. It's all I need.

Now, let's roll.

Update #6: Content, Link Building, Traffic, Keywords, Experiments, Earnings, Expenses

Content

In April 2021, I've added 52 articles! Wow, I didn't realize how many articles I've added until now. And all of these articles are related to only one category. I am trying to gain topical relevance for this category before storming the next one. Here is the type of articles I've added:

So far, I've published 137 articles on this niche website.

Link Building

I haven't done any external link building. I've focused mainly on internal link building and anchor text optimization.

Expenses

In April 2021, I paid:

For these 52 articles, I used iWrtier's and Textbroker's services. Some articles are 2000+ words, others 1000 words. The average price per 1000 words is $22, which is pretty decent.

Website's Structural Changes

Since I've added close to 80 articles for only one category, I have finally created a custom landing page for that category. The landing page has a beautiful design and hosts all articles in that category plus its sub-categories. Then, from the avalanche articles, I link back to the main category and the sub-categories (I've created landing pages for the sub-categories too).

Thankfully, Thrive Theme Builder has a setting to redirect your old category page to the newly created one.

Earnings

Here is a screenshot from my US Amazon Earnings in April.

In March, I had 484 clicks with 6.82% CR. In April, the CTR is the same; however, the CR has doubled.

I can only speculate about the reason, but let me try:

Traffic

We can see another month with traffic growth. In March, the traffic has grown by 400 users in comparison to February. In April, the traffic has increased by 200 users

Keywords and Rankings

In March, I've reported that I saw some "keyword bleeding," which is a normal process, and in April, I've gained new keywords. The most crucial part is that I've gained many keywords in the #1-3 category.

This is definitely because of the KGR + Avalanche technique. Just easy to rank keywords without building links. There are thousands of these.
