🔗I Woke up with Another High DR Backlink + ✅Building Silos in WordPress the Right Way

🍩 Good day, Donuts!

By the time you read this email, I should be already back in Sofia from my month-long stay in my hometown in the Rhodope mountains

I am that type of persona who longs equally strong for the chaos of the big city and the silence of rural life. After a month of homegrown food and outdoor workouts, I am back to my usual nutrition and workout philosophy. I am also back to my regular daily business routine - morning reading, morning workout, fasting, work, work, work.

In last week's newsletter, I shared the book Rest: Why You Get More Done When You Work Less and the importance of resting. I am not a person who chills out and rests. I don't take vacations, and I don't have free weekends.

Throughout all the years of hustling, dieting, working out daily, I've learned that the best way for me to restart is by taking month-long routine changes in all aspects of my life. Exactly what I did last month. This is my way of positively stressing my body and mind. We can't grow in the comfort of the status quo.

Now, let's get back to my last week's business.

🐦Twitter Loves the Buzz of Fresh Money

First, let me welcome all new subscribers I've gained after sharing a chart of my passive income from my coupon niche website (read the discussion on Twitter to learn why I call it "a passive income").

For all new subscribers, I recommend reading two critical articles, which made me who I am today. First, without Milaonsupplements, Mila Chervenkova wouldn't have existed. And here is why? The second article I suggest reading is How I Won the Lottery Without Getting Lucky. I hope you enjoy them and find a piece of yourself there.

🔗I Woke up with Another High DR Backlink

Some days ago, I woke up with a dofollow backlink to milachervenkova.rock from a DR71 domain. In January, I gained a DR85 backlink from business.com. And on Thursday, I had an interview with a publisher on Medium.

I earned all these links because of my consistent outreach efforts through HARO. I think I spend no more than 30-40 mins/day on HARO outreach. I am not very picky, but I'm always relevant with the pitches. In all successful pitches, I've noticed that the publishers were interested in the person behind the story and not that much about the business itself.

Another thing that I feel helped a lot is that I am very consistent with what I preach. In the examples above, I talked about Kanban and how its philosophy changed how I work and think. And I always try to support my words when I do outreach with real examples. I will include references to my tweets, where I

evangelize productivity through Kanban. I will also include articles from my blog, which I've written years ago, such as - 7 Habit-Changing Lessons I've Learned by Being Exposed to Kanban Culture and How I Bent Gmail's Hard Look into a Soft Kanban Board [Perhaps, out of Jealously].

And lastly, I am seeing a trend where journalists on HARO are explicitly looking for stories from female founders and co-founders. If you have co-founded a business with a female and you are doing outreach on HARO, let her speak on behalf of your business - there is a great chance to gain more exposure for your business.

✅Building Silos in WordPress the Right Way

The most important thing when building a niche website and actually any website which is supposed to grow through organic search is website architecture. If you fucked up your website structure, you will struggle with the traffic (unless you don't pour lots of cash for link building).

And since I already have more than 100 articles on my niche website project, I had to create better category pages (these are the archive pages for your post in a given category). Thanks to Thrive Theme Builder, which I use on my niche website project, I can create custom archive pages and do a 301 redirect from the old pages to the custom pages.

Authority Hacker released an excellent video about this process. You can watch it here. This is exactly how I build my silo pages in WordPress.

From My Actual Life

I have a sh*tload of work to complete in the following four months, including another body recomposition goal. On top of that, I've decided to give my Toyota RAV4 to my father so that I can buy a smaller car.

Unfortunately, one of the disadvantages of my new apartment location is the lack of parking places. I mean, here, it is super hard to find a place to park my car nearby my apartment. So I'm changing the comfort of my SUV for a smaller but easy to park city car.

I am a big fan of Japanese cars, so I'm considering buying Suzuki Swift or Suzuki Jimny. If anyone has experience with owning a small car, or a good car dealer in Sofia, hit reply and let me know what type of car I should consider.

Enjoy the day!
