🗻Rhodope Mountains and the 🏔️Avalanche Technique [+KGR]

🍩 Good Morning, Donuts!
Once again, I want to apologize for not being able to send my newsletter last week.
Last Sunday, I had a planned trip to my home in the Rhodope Mountains, and the same day, there was heavy snowfall in Bulgaria. Thankfully, I made it home safely, but the whole trip (5 hours) was quite stressful. I took the afternoon off and spent it with my family.

deploying KGR and SEO avalanche techniques
These are two unpopular but super effective keyword research techniques for ranking websites with no resources. Under resources, consider link building, domain authority, social media presence, brand power, etc. The only resources used are keywords and content.
Keyword Golder Ratio (KGR) is a data-driven strategy for finding long-tail keywords that are underserved on the internet. KGR is the number of Google results with the keyword phrase in the title, divided by the local monthly search volume, where the LMS is less than 250.
If the KGR is less than 0.25, your site should rank in the top 100. When the KGR is between 0.25 and 1, you will rank in the top 250. If the ratio is more than 1, then it indicates that the search term is more competitive and will therefore be harder to rank for.
Basically, when you write a well-optimized article targeting a KGR keyword with less than a 0.25 score, it is very likely for your article to enter the top 10 results within 48-72 hours. And I won't hide that KGR keywords are the first to target when I launch any new niche website.
The SEO Avalanche Technique is something new for me. I've read it a dozen times, and I've already started deploying it on my niche website project. This SEO technique combines KGR keywords that you are "avalanching" by their search volume. For this SEO technique, a good keyword isn't just about having the right KGR score, but it also needs to have a particular volume, depending on your website traffic tier.
Instead of paraphrasing the idea behind the whole SEO Avalanche technique, I will give you a link to the forum thread to read the original one. The thread includes a further discussion by some brilliant SEO guys. Here is a link to the SEO Avalanche Technique. If you are interested in SEO, it's a must reading.
Right now, I am combining KGR and the Avalanche techniques with proper interlinking (siloing) and particular anchor texts. Once I have some results, I will write a step-by-step guide so you can reproduce my success (I hope so).
📚 books & interesting stuff i've read
- Stealing Fire: How Silicon Valley, the Navy SEALs, and Maverick Scientists Are Revolutionizing the Way We Live and Work: Currently reading this book, but I like it so far. There is some Stoic wisdom included, and I am a big supporter of Stoicism.
- Naval Podcast: Naval is recording again. He uploaded two podcasts, which then he breaks down into short, 2-3 minutes videos. The main topic he covers is the infinity of knowledge.
- The $6 Million Affiliate Site Exit: This interview answers the question of why I am building niche websites. Whether monetized through display ads, affiliate networks, or both, niche websites have one of the highest ROI if you decide to sell them. A website that earns $10K/mo could be easily sold for $300K-$350k.
- Soft White Underbelly: This channel is about some heavy life stuff. And it is already my favorite, non-business-related YouTube channel. If you are mentally labile, consume the videos with caution.
from my actual life
In the coming weeks, I plan to work from our house in the Rhodope Mountains and spend more time with my family. The air here is clean, the noise is non-existence, and the food is produced by my family. I plan to take walks in nature and swing some kettlebells outside.
Goldie traveled with me, and he is also enjoying our rural life. He met another cat for the first time in his life!
Life here is "Pole Pole" and rural life rocks.
Next Sunday I will send Niche Website Project's March Update.
Own your future, Friends!
🙏 If you're enjoying my Donuts about Marketing newsletter, I'd love it if you shared it with a friend (or three). You can send them this link.
I'm always open to feedback and suggestions.
