Instagram LogoHow close are you to nature? Do you truly enjoy and use it to get some energy? Or do you see your daily walk as something to do every day? Another box to tick in the lockdown?? . . . I was reading a book this week where the author mentioned how we have lost true connection with nature in the modern days. We are constantly reminded that consuming is going to make us happy. We live busy lives because being busy seems to be the golden way or shows some success ? . . . But let me ask you a question. When was the last time you hugged a tree? You stopped and observed the wildlife around you? The last time you just paused and listened to the birds? Or observed the eco-system around you? I naively believed that back in March, I was connecting back with the nature around us. We went for many walks and we truly enjoyed this slow pace of life. But actually, I still feel like someday, I do it to tick the box or because I feel I have to do it for us to feel good and for the well-being of Baba. Am I 100% doing it for the right reasons? Maybe I need a day or two when I don't turn on any device and meditate all day? Or I go walking barefoot in the grass, just to feel and remember what the grass feels like? ??? Maybe I need to find my most primitive state back? Dreaming of an adventure in Sweden or Denmark! . . . . But is it even possible? To be totally switched off for 24 hours? When was the last time you actually did this??? I can't remember personally! ????? #muddypuddlesuk #kulingkids #kuling
