My hair is getting grey as years goes by. Some say is grow of wisdom Some say is fashion. Some say are you too stress with your work ah? 😅 Whatever it is, it does not matter or bother me. A few more years to 50 just make me appreciate life much better. No more focusing or judging who is right or who is wrong, because only time can tell. These days I have been sharing with people around me that: What I used to think is right in the past, now I feel is wrong. What I used to thing is wrong in the pass, now I feel is right. Life is about perpective. When you see and experience more things as you age, your perspective changed. What matter most is the moment! The moment that I am still alive and kicking The moment of joy The moment of gratefulness The moment of appreciation With the continuous desire to: Achieve greater things Lean new things Love life Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift! What happened in 2021? With a blink of eye, Today is the last day of the year already! This is the year of astonishment to me: 1. I achieved my MDRT in first 4 months of the year. 2. Henry Lim achieved his first COT within 11 months. 3. Wilfred Ling achieved his COT within 8 months in his first full year with our team instead of using a full year in the past. 4 Lily Fung achieved her first MDRT after leaving her high 6 figure income corporate career to join us 5 months ago. 5. With a Total of 9 MDRT qualifiers in the team, we have surpassed our last year revenue in Nov and still going strong. Thankful for an amazing year! See you next year and hit me up for a coffee to catch up if we have not got a chance to meet this year!

[Life is full of uncertainty, don’t live in regrets!] 😮 Shocked to know one of my client who is one year younger than me had stage 4 cancer. 😮 Double shocked to hear one of my schoolmate same age as me just had a heart attack this year. You hear or see this kind of news all the time from news and probably feel will never happen to you. 😮 Then suddenly the feeling is different when it happen to people close to you. When I first started out 2 decades ago, many tell me they are too young to have critical illness. 👶🏻 ❌ Some even thought we are using scare technique to make them buy. 😅 ❌ Some say they can invest and make more money to self insured. ❌ Some say insurance bluff people one, buy already cannot claim. It was never easy being a life insurance agent. However I persisted. 💪 Because I experience how life insurance can save a family dignity. 💪 Because I am a beneficiary of life insurance myself. 💪 Because I am doing this not for myself but helping people I came across in life. It is my mission and way of giving back to the society. These days, not only me but my team are filing more and more critical illness claim. We are glad that we are sending our client insurance money and not more bills to them. ✅ Those who thought are scare technique finally know it is real! ✅ Those who thought they can invest and make more money finally know insurance money give them the highest return among all their investments. ✅ Those who think insurance bluff people finally know insurance does pay! We have never once hear a client who claim saying they buy too much insurance. 🥲 Only regrets that they did not buy more or worst still, didn’t buy! 🥲 Only regrets why they have not done their retirement plan earlier! 🥲 Only regrets it is too late to do anything now! For those who still have time and health to do something, do it now! Don’t look back and regret in future. Last week I receive an unknown number from Malaysia and I ignore it as usual. Then the same number texted me and introduce himself. He turn out to be a colleague from our Malaysia Branch! What a surprise call! He wanted to invite me as a speaker for his team meeting. I agreed without hesitation! I was given 30 mins… but response is overwhelming. End up overrun to 45mins on my 3 Strategies in finishing strong for the last quarter. I always belief we must be self motivated in this business. While many are motivated and want to do well, mostly lack the know how. You really don’t need more motivation that die off after a week or the next day! What you need is solid strategies that works and implementable! I failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed! This year 30th Apr 2021, I received my Top Direct Team Award and Financial Alliance Quality Class Eminence Award for my year 2020 production. Both the highest award for a Team and Individual can obtain in the company. However, life was never a bed of roses... ❌ I failed my O Level, repeat my O level and still end up in ITE. ❌ I was rejected by MOE for my application to be a Teacher after graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. ❌ It took me 8 years to be become a recruiting manager and 9 years to qualify my first MDRT (Which both are considered slow in our industry). ❌ Restart from 0 to join Financial Alliance 12 years ago and almost gave up management role after 2 years of poor recruitment results. ❌ Failed to achieve FAQC award in my first year. ❌ Failed to achieve the Top Direct Team Award year after year for 12 straight years. ✅ The only thing I never fail is - Never stop believing that I will be the Top Team in the company one day! ✅ I am grateful for all my teammates who believe in me and make this happen together. ✅ And our clients who believe in the work we do, that is why we are doing what we are doing! I just like to share if you are not the fastest or smartest in the room, it is not the end of the world. It is like Nation Building, there are up and downs but if we are united, we will overcome any challenge and emerge a Winner! Yes Award come and go but progress is what we aim for as a team, and we will always be aiming for No. 1. Historical moment! 💉 Done with my 1st Jab of Pfizer fast like a tornado🌪 I must say the whole process is so well thought of, super fast and efficient 👍 I was like putting through a conveyor belt and before I know, it was done in less than 5min! 😮 I did not even have a chance to take out my phone and I was sent to the waiting area to be discharge! 🤣 Only managed to take my first photo while waiting at the discharge station. 😳 Feel bless and proud to be born in Singapore! 😄
