✨FAVORITE CHRISTIAN ROMANCE READS OF 2022✨ Not Since You Next to You Now with You Not Until You Not Until Noelle (not pictured) (The Secrets of River Hollow series) by @dulciedameron Almost Everything & The Only Exception by @mandi_blake_author Did I slide my book in there at the end? Yes. Yes I did. — Have you read any of these?
The first quote is from someone I saw on here a few days ago. But I’ve never heard it before (which is surprising by the amount of Pinterest trips i make to look for quotes exactly like that.) But for anyone who’s followed me for any amount of time, you know my all time favorite fictional book is “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers. One of my TN friends recommend it to me 8+ years ago and one day at Hobby Lobby, I bought it. And it stayed on my nightstand for YEARS. I tried opening it a few times but just wasn’t in the “space” to read it. About 6 years ago, i picked it up and started reading it. After the prologue I COULD NOT put it down! And every year since I’ve read it once. (Except in 2020 and look at what happened 🥴😂) But anyways, all of that to say… accept the fact that you have books in your book cellar (aka bookshelf/nightstand) that you haven’t read. Maybe you just need to be in the right place to read it. And that’s okay! Anyways! Happy Sunday! I hope you have a wonderful day of rest and rejuvenation ♥️ God Bless 🫶🏼
It’s a tale as old as time…
What are your goals for 2023? Whether it be reading/writing related or not? -- We're 4 days into the new year...so here are some of my goals over the next 361 days: - Read (at least) 50 books (I'm already 3 books in 😍) - Actually work through my TBR and not be a mood reader - (Lord willing) publish "Scarlett's Scars", edit "Blaise's Knight," write Ember & River's story - Read 99% indie books - Write a Christmas romcom - Read more physical books (my paperback/hardback TBR is out of hand and needs some wrangling.) - Spend less time on social media, aka be more intentional with my time on social media and stop the mindless scrolling, but more importantly, spend more time with God. - Find Balance (Which also happens to be my word for 2023) So what are some of your goals for 2023? #newyearsresolution2023 #newyearsnewgoals #writersofinstagram #authorsofinstagram #faithbooks #christianromance #christiansuspense #christianauthor #christianbookstagram

When the guy (literally) falls first. ♥️
Since it's the last day of 2022... Here are some of my favorite authors/books/tropes/genres of 2022. I did meet my reading goal (although the pages read seems a bit low...) and read more than that for critiques/beta reads, but I have to say I've had a great reading year. This is the first time I really tried to stick to a reading goal, and I thought I'd shoot low and did hit my 35 books. Next year, I'm setting my goal to 50. And if I don't end up in another reading slump, I think I should be able to hit that pretty easily. (Especially with some new features I've tapped into on my phone.) -- Have you hit your reading goals? Who were some of your favorite authors of 2022?
Tell me I’m wrong 🤣
😂😂😂
When I sit back and truly think about what Christmas is about…it blows me away. It’s about JESUS. JESUS, the Son of God. JESUS, born of woman. JESUS, the friend. JESUS, the savior. He is God, helped form creation, yet chose to die for the very ones He created…despite their hatred of Him. He died for you. He died for me. ••• Sure, Christmastime is a great season to try and make life look more perfect than it is. We watch endless Hallmark Christmas movies with guaranteed HEA. We put hundreds of lights up to illuminate our neighborhood. We buy endless gifts for relatives and loved ones, hoping to bring a little cheer into this awful time of year. but in all honesty…it should be a time where we can rest in the knowledge that… WE ARE NOT ENOUGH! But you know who is?? Jesus! The very baby who’s birth we celebrate on December 25 of each year. So rest in the knowledge that our Creator, in His most vulnerable human form, carried the weight of the world’s sin on His tiny shoulders until the day He died for us all. If He could carry that burden, then lay the ones pulling you down onto the Savior’s shoulders and rest in the knowledge that HE IS ENOUGH, 1,000 times enough. And it’s okay that you’re not. MERRY CHRISTMAS ♥️
